This clip is from an old show that used to air on the Wii's Nintendo Channel called Nintendo Week. My friend @saltydkdan.bsky.social and I watched the whole thing recently. Here's my deep dive. You can see our reactions on his channel . youtu.be/1vCt5oNSZiI

Not sure what else anybody might need. Even if you don't care about the environment. Even if you don't care about IP theft. Even if you don't care about a world full of incompetence. "It literally makes you dumber."

I mean this earnestly: why do we need a new console right now? The PS5 and Xbox Series X are very powerful, they can run just about anything you want them to. If hardware production is so expensive right now, then focus your efforts on making games for the consoles that already exist.

Twitch is requiring new Affiliates, before their first payment, to give government photo ID and a separate photo to Persona, the same Persona that has connections to government mass surveillance programs. When I asked Twitch support for another option, they said there isn't one. #twitch #persona 1/4

Text on Twitch's website saying "Verify Your Identity" "Submit proof of identity and location to receive your payout" "In order to receive your payout, you need to verify your identity through Persona, Twitch's identity verification service. You will have 3 tries. Please be ready to provide both of the following: 1. A picture of your government-issued identification card, such as an identity card, passport or driver's license. 2. A "selfie" (i.e., a picture of your face), taken using a webcam or phone camera. By clicking "Start Verification" below, you understand that you will be leaving Twitch and will be redirected to Persona's service, and further understand and acknowledge that Twitch may send Persona limited personal information about you to facilitate the identity verification process, in accordance with Twitch's Privacy Notice. Information you provide to Persona will not be used for any purposes other than to verify your identity and will not be stored for longer than necessary to fulfill this purpose. Need Help? See our detailed onboarding guide." "Start Verification"
