Share 4 of your favourite books. Difficult, there are so many! But here's a sampler. Included one of my own because I'm proud of the effort involved in making it!

Hm, for me it'd have to be one that hasn't been rereleased on a later platform. So probably Guardian's Crusade!
Screenshot of a turn-based fight sequence from the ps1 game Guardian's Crusade: in the foreground, the protagonist "Knight" and weird pink shapechanging creature "Baby" face off against two monsters in the backgrounds: a treant and a giant frog (which is currently selected as the target of an attack, and its name is on screen: "Fatal Frog"). The fight appears to take place in some sort of swampy environment filled with tree stumps. Knight has 129/145 hit points and 49/49 power points. Baby has only 1/83 hit points.

One of the dndbeyond preorder bonuses for 2024e was a Dragons of D&D Artbook which I think you'd enjoy. Afaik it's not meant to be publicly available yet so I won't share it directly - but there does seem to be a direct url that works even when you're not logged in and appears on search engines.
A screenshot of a google search for "dragons of D&D artbook", which shows that a direct link to the pdf on dndbeyond is third from the top on the list of results.

Yes, it will. Next Black Friday at the latest.

I really like google docs new tabs system for my session notes!
A screenshot taken from my google doc titled Sessions #9-: Free Body Problem. It shows the document tabs and subtabs I've broken the notes into on a bar on the left side. The visible text reads as follows:

WE RETURN TO OUR HEROES
After defending billionaire tech mogul Tucker Zirg from mercenaries, Fennek came in hot with an accusation against him. He accused her of slander and threatened to get his lawyers involved. A little later, he escaped out the fire exit along with his “Archon Stone” with help from an unwitting Tezlin.

ABOUT THESE BODIES
The other party members have a small window to investigate the mercenaries. They are a mixture of humanoids, but mostly human, wearing Arcane Armouries Aegis Mark 4 magitech armoured suits. They therefore seem unrelated to the cancelled announcement of the new Knightshield Solutions line.

Most of the mercenaries are dead, as the party only left one survivor, but they discover that with only a couple of exceptions every body they unmask has been dead for weeks!

Creators, make sure to use itch.io's new AI generation disclosure! The system auto-detected some products when I logged in and I could batch tag them, but I had to do others manually. It didn't take long and is worth doing! To manually update your disclosure, you'll find the new section below tags.
A screenshot of the edit game page on itch, taken from one of my products, intended to show where to find the new AI generation disclosure section while editing a product. Depicted from top to bottom are: itch's top menu for the creator dashboard, the bottom of the Details section, the tags section, the new AI generation disclosure section, and finally the App store links section.

Lucky Duck goes everywhere my dice go. He may or may not actually be lucky. Incidentally, the blue speckled d20 on the left edge of the pic is known as Speckled Jim and actually is lucky, but only when I'm GMing. I roll him when I don't feel like my players' characters have suffered enough crits!
A clear plastic duck with prism-like, flat-planed edges and two dots for eyes lies in a bed of polyhedral dice.

In that case, Lone Wolf, Fabled Lands, Fighting Fantasy, and even the Sonic the Hedgehog gamebooks (yes they existed) were more formative to me than D&D!
Cover image of Sonic the Hedgehog Adventure Gamebook 1: Metal City Mayhem by James Wallis. Sonic holds onto a tall red lattice beam with one hand above an explosion in the midst of what looks like an oil refinery. Tails hangs above the explosion from Sonic's other hand.

Sure! Here's my current Tomb of Annihilation character, Inkosi, as drawn by Fabrizio Fioretti. He's a 7'2, 286 lb. white-furred leonin with a magically animate, skeletal right arm that was created when he caught it in a field of necromantic magic.
Inkosi is a 7'2, 286 lb. white-furred leonin with a magically animate, skeletal right arm. He wears clothes of animal hide and wields a iklwa (a type short-hafted, broad-bladed spear) and a isihlangu shield (oval shaped cow-hide shield). He carries two longer assegai (spears) on his back for throwing.

Just released: Wasteland Wonders! New player character options for post-apocalyptic worlds. Updates of all other books in the Wasteland Worlds line have also been released. More here: open.substack.com/pub/spilleda...
A promotional image showing a mockup of Wasteland Wonders as a book. The cover is divided diagonally into three sections: in the top left, a fierce wolf man charges toward the viewer; in the right, a robot's construction is completed in a factory; in the bottom, a dark-haired female sailor washes up on a beach, grasping at a surprised turtle!

The Sailor - a support class, features mostly themed around teamwork & chain of command. - holds grudges worthy of Ahab. - features relating to vehicles, obviously, but the class has non-vehicle features at the same levels to remain balanced in a campaign with few or even no vehicle encounters.
A preview of the cover for my upcoming class The Sailor: a Wasteland Wanderer.

The cover art by Shaman's Stock Art features a bedraggled, dark-haired female sailor crawling out of the ocean onto a beach. Her hand has grasped the shell of a turtle lying on the sand.

An entry swap for the D&D 5e sorcerer wild magic table (I suggest 07-08, fireball, or one of the other entries that's likely to screw over other PCs and not just the sorcerer): Level Oop. You gain a level which lasts until your next long rest. But it's in a randomly determined class!
Princess Star from the animation Star vs. the Forces of Evil (a blonde teenage girl who wears a green dress, striped stockings, boots that look like purple monsters, and a red devil horn hair band. She carries a pink magic wand with a star design, framed with white wings and topped by a crown.) She is summoning a rainbow and cute creatures with magic, but the rainbow is on fire and the critters look on in terror!

Has this ever happened to you? Sometimes players don't actually want to go first! Here's a house rule: If you roll a natural 20 on initiative, you can insert yourself anywhere in the initiative order during the first round. If you want, one allied creature gets to replace their roll with a 20.
The image depicts Marisha Ray of Critical Role, hands raised in frustration. The image text reads, in all caps: "Natural 20 on an initiative!? What a $%&^ing waste!"
