Almost done with all the achievements for both Once Upon a Katamari and Powerwash Simulator. Next games will be In Stars and Time and… uhhhh… something else. Promise.

I think we all need to celebrate home made food more. It doesn’t need to look picturesque or anything. Home food is good food.

Making the announcement now, but I’m back to my weekly streaming shenanigans. Backlog. Completing games. OSRS. Vibing. Working on getting my backlog somewhere everyone can see. If that sounds like the place you wanna be, it’d be great to have you. twitch.tv/karaimeatball/

Been going back to older games I have on steam and making number for achievements go higher. Going back and ACTUALLY playing my games has been a good time.

Ever heard of Archipelago Randomizers? It randomizes items across different games and you (and your friends) need to try sending items to each other from one game to another. It's wild! And Demon Tides has an Archipelago mod I'll link below.

I think that pumpkin spice lattes are vile. That is all. Have a good day.

I'm finally putting the backlog on backloggery! It's going to take a while, but once I get all the games on there, my backlog will be public!

This is VERY targeted. My dad and I would play MVC2 together when he wasn’t working 80 hour weeks. He loved the dreamcast. He’s gone now. We had both Sonic Adventures too. When I can find both of them CIB, I think I want to replay the dreamcast version to live in the past a little…

Karai @spicykarai.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Literally every time I turn my dreamcast on.

Using sundays to be the cleaning and productive housework day. We used to do it every Sunday, and when we first moved, it stopped. Feels pretty good to have a “make home homier” day in the week.

I tried pork and beans from Hy-Vee. They are fine. Aldi beans are still the best.

The backlog is one game shorter. I beat once upon a Katamari last night. It was a fun game. Roll things into ball. Some gimmicky levels. First original one in, like, 15 years. I really hope more is made since it’s one of my favorite series.

I played some RS3 this weekend. Some quests on the Ironman. Nothing too fancy, but i had fun.

010

Karai @spicykarai.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I bought Disgaea Mayhem. It's a game. I spent 60 dollars on... not because I wanted it in particular... It's fine... I guess. Just another game on the backlog for now.

2 monitors set up… connected wired. It’s almost like I have nearly everything set up to stream again. 🤔

Last time at old place. Last 4 hour drive to move (hopefully). I need an extended vacation.

Cleaning out the old place. Feels kinda weird that I have only two fond memories here. Small town. Very white. Very republican. Can’t say I enjoyed it, but our new place is much better and closer to friends and family.

Golden sun dark dawn didn’t come out that long ago… It’s only been 15 years… I’m sure they are working on a sequel. There was a cliffhanger, and no series ever leaves those… right…?

I talked to the video game backlog gods last night and they said that I need to start playing my backlog again. The book backlog gods are giving me some time to build bookshelves in their honor, but they probably won’t wait forever.

Once moving in and settling happens, Imma restart streaming. Got a lot of neat things planned. Kinda miss yapping and playing games with folks.

Slowly unpacking. Not sure how, but we (Wife and I) have duplicate manga, games, etc. like, dang, I didn’t remember I had a lot of stuff. After we unpack, we are going to inventory everything. Lots of bookshelves will need to be built. 6 up so far.
