Us artists are often patient and empathetic people, but don't let those who threaten our work use that against us. You are allowed to be an asshole to those that seek to invalidate what we do. Oppressors will always shame us for speaking up, don't let them convince you we are wrong for doing so.

does anyone else put on a song or a show or a video with their character's voiceclaim and just close their eyes and imagine. kind of like the brain animatic every artist talks about but more delusional

Raw milk is one of those ideas that can really only take hold when people haven't seen a cow. if you see a cow from let's say ten feet or less you immediately understand the problem that pasteurization is solving

Friends I need you to fucking swear on everything that matters to you that you will not fucking watch that video when it drops. Do not click it. Do not engage with it. Do not share it. Do not hate watch it. Stop telling these fuckos that what they're doing is bankable.

was pulled out of public school in 9th because I experienced constant bullying that turned to threats. I'm grateful that it was an option but at the same time am all too aware that I am behind in life now even though I only missed out on 3.5 yrs

sometimes I forget I'm allergic to dogs and then I get covered in dog hair (both dogs sleep on my bed every night and my entire bed is layered in it) and then I wonder why I'm so itchy that I can't sleep

think I want to try my hand at creating a proper typeface or two. I keep thinking about it. no idea how but I've banged my head against the wall learning worse mostly because I think a refined version of my handwriting would be great for comics

In 2025 (less than 30 days away), PayPal will start selling your transaction history for targeted advertising. I very highly recommend logging into your account and going to Settings > Data & Privacy > Personalized Shopping. If you're reading this, turn that off RIGHT NOW before you forget.

A screenshot of PayPal's terms of service. Big wall of legalese text, which I will be pasting in below. You don't need to read it, here's the important part:

"The key update to the Privacy Statement explains how we will share information with merchants to personalize your shopping experience and recommend our services to you. Personal information we disclose includes, for example, products, preferences, sizes, and styles we think you’ll like. Information gathered about you after the effective date of our updated Privacy Statement, November 27, 2024, will be shared with participating stores where you shop."

Here's the whole paragraph:

We are updating our Privacy Statement to explain how, starting early Summer 2025, we will share information to help improve your shopping experience and make it more personalized for you. The key update to the Privacy Statement explains how we will share information with merchants to personalize your shopping experience and recommend our services to you. Personal information we disclose includes, for example, products, preferences, sizes, and styles we think you’ll like. Information gathered about you after the effective date of our updated Privacy Statement, November 27, 2024, will be shared with participating stores where you shop, unless you live in California, North Dakota, or Vermont. For PayPal customers in California, North Dakota, or Vermont, we’ll only share your information with those merchants if you tell us to do so. No matter where you live, you’ll always be able to exercise your right to opt out of this data sharing by updating your preference settings in your account under “Data and Privacy.”

can we get #monsterperson / #monsterpeople more popular as gender neutral tags? nothing against the monstergirls one but that tag is very... not sfw :( tends to overlap with anime girls a lot in a predictable way. I want the community furries have but for fauns/taurs/harpies etc

✏️ bluesky please please please this isn't graphic its just a hint of topboob. i promise. have a monster woman that i hope isn't hidden and if she is... its safe to open i swear #characterdesign #monsterpeople #monstergirl #sphinx

a drawing of a sphinx/mermaid monster person. she has black hair, a long, thick neck, paws, and a thick whale-like lower half. the top half of her body is steel teal and the lower half a pale flesh tone.

A LOT of artists are doing Black Friday sales this year. Like, way more than I've seen in years past. That tells me that SO many of us need people buying our art. Please please please buy from artists in the coming weeks and consider us throughout the year when purchasing gifts.
