Many numbers on a product page are accurate. Taken alone though, they tell you almost nothing. Thread count without ply. Fill power without weight. Peak horsepower without airflow or suction. Today's article covers misleading marketing numbers. www.worseonpurpose.com/p/thread-cou...

Thread Count, Fill Power and Other Misleading Numbers
Selective marketing and increasingly complex products have made quality harder to judge. What five common numbers leave out, and what to check instead.

Good afternoon! Your friendly cyber mechanic here! I'd like to share some knowledge on a poorly understood topic that boosters and critics chronically misrepresent. Let's talk about what computer scientists mean by "AI" and "LLM"s. They aren't what you think they are; this is important.

D8 is very active politically so I would expect that most voters will know that he has dropped out, but there will be some ppl who haven't heard and will vote for him.

How does RCV work now that Yekutiel has dropped out? His votes go to the next choice? Are votes for him still counted? What if he wins?

They are separate companies, though Hershey manufactures and sells Cadbury chocolate in the US under a licensing agreement. A Cadbury bar produced in America is produced to a completely different spec than bars produced in the UK. Which probably explains your experiences above.

SF homeless service providers must prove their programs work. SF permitting software, not so much…
Homeless service providers will now be contracted via ‘performance-based metrics.' But that's not the case for OpenGov, the struggling permit software system. It's enough to give you whiplash.
