Unlike some other research work in this area, this study found that social media in general didn't increase people's exposure to and belief in misinformation: these beliefs were specifically correlated with the use of messaging apps, like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook Messenger. Interestingly, they also found that people who consume more podcasts were more likely to believe COVID-19 disinformation (a category of media that I'd categorize as Internet-related).

the LA "river" during the dry season. there's a few feet width of water running through a huge man-made concrete riverbed. you could comfortably drive one or two cars on the concrete on each side of the water

I've been making an effort to incorporate more color the last few years, but the best formal-ish dress I own is this black mockneck sleeveless number and it totally totally has Marcella vibes. I think of that professor every time I see it in the closet

tall thin Black model with tight curly hair wearing the described sleeveless black dress. it's fitted to the body, with a mockneck and shoulder pads which gives a muscle tank vibe, plus a slit high up the thigh revealing the model's leg. hard to see but there's ruching in the stomach area. the floor-length skirt drapes straight down with subtle movement around the ankles. the model wears the dress with black pointed kitten heels.

Fitbit app Sleep this week. 5 hours 19 mins per day average. Bar graph shows that no days meet the 7 hour target threshold. Three days are around 6-7 hours, two days are around 5 hours, one day is 4 hours and one day was under 4 hours (3 hours 22 minutes, if you're curious)

monstera siltepecana. I got a rooted cutting as a party favor last year along with a cebu blue pothos. I think the leaf size has regressed a bit from the biggest they reached (mistakes were made) but they're not doing too bad now
