My rendition of a Hecatoncheires, a giant with 100 hands, and I gave it four large ones, and fifty heads. The smaller sub torsos off the main body wield one or two weapons, and some have shields.

I recently purchased a tiny ceramic hippo that floats, and could think of no better place on my home for it than to add a second dangerous animal in with my axolotl.

My axolotl Fern is the light brown and white blob on the foreground. Honestly she hides pretty well. Duckweed covers the surface of the water.

I didn't know lichen could grow on beach boulders. I'm no marine biologist or fungi fun guy, if anyone else can provide details I'd be grateful.

I'm so excited I got to meet a siphonophore today! I've been following MBARI for years, and I got to visit the aquarium and their deep sea exhibit was amazing beyond belief. Absolutely a gem in the world.

A siphonophore in a cylindrical aquarium, the individual parts are difficult to make out but the red organs are a good indicator of the colony.
