Do you remember where you were when the Sector 7 plate fell? I saw it happen from my office... Helplessly watching on in horror at the destruction... Praying my wife and daughter were okay... There was also this weird cat watching outside my window which was... distracting, but I'll never forget...

Even though it was overall a smaller PAX this year, I'm glad I went and it was a lot of fun. Fan spaces are so cool, cosplayers and music and just the vibe of being with passionate people are just something impossible to replicate outside of a fan convention scenario.

In general XII underutilized its fantasy races. I'm glad Tactics Advance and A2 make up for it, it's a big reason I like those games so much despite some flawed gameplay in the judge system and clunky as hell menus.

Rebirth liked to sort of intentionally fracture your party to lead to specific party comps and that was cool in a different way but I really prefer the replayability of letting me pick the different parties myself; being able to pick the overworld leader is also just super nice.

Well they announced the one feature I wanted for FF7R with being able to fully customize your party composition so pretty much perfect 10 no notes. I knew logically that had to be the case since Cloud is gonna be absent for so much of it but I'm still super happy to get confirmation.

I have ABSOLUTELY personally experienced not being taken as seriously for my voice and I think it's a big part of why I really identified with this specific aspect of this character, so it's a bit frustrating to see it crop up so much with simple fandom discussion of my favorite lil guy!
