My robot vacuum has just reported it's found an object. I'm really hoping it's wrong about that...

Before I had #solarpanels and a #homebattery installed I calculated how much I'd save each year off my energy bill. Most years I have smashed that original prediction, this year I've almost reached that target with 3 months still to go! Solar and batteries make such a difference

So is it a guy called Matt Wood who does all types of flooring, a guy called Matt who does Wood Flooring, or a shop that only sells non-glossy floor products?

But... why?? If only there were a much safer, healthier, less explosive and more efficient type of cooker like, I don't know, LITERALLY ANY ELECTRIC ONE. Burning it for heating too? Hydrogen here is backward step for the environment and everyone's wallets. #hydrogen #greenwashing

Holy shit! Like bollocks is climate change not real, my solar panels generated 651 kWh in July. Not only is that abnormally high for July, it's also the most my panels have ever generated in a single month by a HUGE margin. Previous record was 596 kWh in May 2023.

Still working on moving away from my Synology NAS but I need to find alternatives for critical functions. I'm stuck on replacing Hyper Backup, Hyper Backup Vault, and Active Backup for Business. Anyone got any suggestions that they've used? Ideally Docker-based and open source!

Lunch today was very good thanks to M&S strawberry and creme sandwiches. I liked them both, Mrs Geek much preferred the non-chocolately one. 9/10 would buy again! No batteries included and not compatible with Home Assistant.
