every smaller community gets called a corner of the internet, do how many vertices does the internet have? what shape is the internet?

turns out rock and roll was an incredibly poor choice of materials to build a city on

i just got around to rewatching the Rise, Dawn, and War of the Planet of the Apes recently. i forgot just how amazing these movies are. seriously, if you haven't watched the 2010s Planet of the Apes movies in a while or at all, WATCH THEM. they're fantastic.

i wish more game soundtracks had CD releases. Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2 both have vinyl releases, yet no CD releases exist. why do no CD releases of the Slime Rancher games' soundtracks exist?

@ari-pheonix786.bsky.social Oh, the HACKSAW! I don't think I sold mine so that works perfectly, thank you for the info.

SpawnOfZap @spawnofzap.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy · 27/09/2026

@ari-pheonix786.bsky.social I see. Smashing things to pieces with a crowbar worked on the desks? I've already dealt with the cubicle walls and stuff long ago, I just can't figure out how to deal with the stuff I can't carry.

SpawnOfZap @spawnofzap.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy · 27/09/2026

@ari-pheonix786.bsky.social i must ask how you got rid of the excessive amount of metal desks from the cubicles. they're taking up so much space and i really wanna decorate that corner

@GroupNebula563 but seriously i got this thing down to around six megabytes

@waeaves.com it even lets me use some features like game screenshots. here's Steamworld Dig because that's what i've been playing

SpawnOfZap @spawnofzap.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy · 25/09/2026

@waeaves.com yeah! someone made a mod for the Miiverse applet that hooks it into your Mastodon account. it's impressively thorough, i can even see you're bridged from bsky. it's called Fediiverse, which is why i included a "(i)"

SpawnOfZap @spawnofzap.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy · 23/09/2026

hiiii hello hiii fedi(i)verse on the 3ds kinda rules actually

new movie watched for somehow the first time since i finally got around to it after years of procrastinating. John Carpenter's The Thing! good movie! had me actually either slightly scared or moderately disgusted at times, which can not be said about a lot of movies. mainly general discomfort […]

if anybody knows a piece of software that lets me automatically go through about 250 files separated into randomly named folders and replace very very specific but repeating pieces of content in each file with something else you'd make my day

my friend offered me a PS2 because i wanted one and they have a spare but i feel bad about accepting the offer since they're also the reason i have a Wii again so instead i just look at the offer like this

A low resolution image of Scout from TF2 without a hat or headphones, staring directly at the camera from a blank grey void.

something weird is up with my phone case. whenever the vibration motor is in use it sounds like my phone is full of bees. it's a little funny though

Remember that when it comes to streaming music you can never separate the art from the artist, since they always earn money when you or anybody else streams their music. Ideally you could stop listening to them all together, but you also could see if you can buy a CD or something second-hand.

@0xabad1dea While I agree, I think I'd rather be using my trusty GBC copy E.T. Digital Companion

RE: mastodon.social/@spawnofzap/1165307… ok i played the demo. it's not a bad game, i mainly just don't like how slippy looks. i think i still generally prefer playing the N64 version, but i'd definitely play the remake if given the opportunity.

caramelizing onions yielded suprisingly little even though i used three pounds of onions. it was successful though, and they taste pretty good! now i gotta figure out what to do with them

this just in: amateur cook immediately goes for trying to make caramelized onions. it's me. i'm the amateur cook

i think social media ruined coconut mall for me. a few years ago it was like THE song used in content and i kinda just got sick of it. it's still a good song but it has since been put VERY far down on my favorites list for mario kart.
