I can’t do a split but I can make you believe I can do a split thanks to camera angles and strategically placed ropes. ✨magic✨ #aerialdance

Just a few highlights from our trip to Disney. The kid went off with his marching band friends, so we mostly got to explore the park on our own. I promise I loved Tiana’s Bayou adventure, even though I look terrified! #disney

Another reason not to trust Google's #AI results: If you look up "violet eyes" (as I did, because today's #vss365 word is violet), it displays results including "Alexandria's Genesis" — a FICTIONAL disease that spun out of 2005 Tumblr post. Google treats it as real until you click the link. 🤦‍♀️

It’s about 100 degrees outside but it feels closer to 60 in my campus office so it’s time to don fuzzy shawl in the middle of July and pretend I’m a rich heiress, full of ennui.

Bad news: While trying to move a photo, I knocked our Hogwarts #LEGO castle off the mantelpiece 😩 Good news: I get to spend part of my day off building LEGOs. 🏰

A few stills from Open Mic night at Canopy Studio last night. This is a work in progress piece my class performed, and it was great to get more experience performing in such a welcoming environment. #aerialtrapeze #circusarts

I didn’t make it very far in this #writingbattle but all of the judges had excellent comments about my story, which was lovely to read, especially during a week when I haven’t felt particularly creative. #amwriting

Former journalist here. I don’t miss the late nights, low pay and high stress, but I do miss to chance to write headlines/stories like this:
