Lovely!! I am working on finishing our basement including a laundry room. I need to find flooring that looks vintage like that, or by some miracle, NOS stuff.

Haven’t posted #fursuitfriday in a long time. Here we are attempting to play GPX tennis with Axel and HIFI with mixed and hilarious results

I was fortunate to buy the Christopher L Stone Talespin soundtrack CD way back in 2004 off eBay, for about $130 I think. My most prized CD for sure.

I just went and bought it now. I had no idea this was released. The DT soundtrack is right up there with TaleSpin for me :3

I just realized I’ve had my fursuit for 15 years last month. Other than needing a new zipper & new straps for my spats, that’s it in terms of repairs. I wasn’t able to suit during AC due to the heat this year. From the last recent pic, that was from an outing & he just needed a good brushing

Art I had commissioned from @sloppywulf.bsky.social and he finished it coincidentally in time for my birthday today.

I forgot how great this game is, especially the soundtrack. TMNT 3 on the NES came out pretty late in the lifecycle of the NES in 1992. Same cartridge I’ve had, but I haven’t played this in nearly 30 years.

The part in that video forever burned into my head is the “Canada Eh! Eh? Canada Eh!” part.

The commercial free one that everyone has was put up on the internet by me back in September 2004 on a file server (at the time my old Gateway computer). And originates from that very recording with the commercials :3

At Anthrocon, recorded the entire I’ve Made Too Much Pasta concert on a 1985 portable VHS VCR and compact tube camera (this time with tripod). I’ll eventually have it up on YouTube later in the week. The aesthetic fits perfectly with the music IMO

I just got the matching camera for the 1980 Sears (Toshiba) portable unit. Need to go Beta now.

Anthrocon is next week. Since I drive by the con center, I am seeing them start to prep. We will be there Thursday- Sunday. Not staying at a hotel, just commuting each day. Depending on circumstances, I might fursuit (gonna be 90+) Taking an early 80s tube camera and portable VCR for video.

Dammit… this is my second time playing Donkey Kong Country through all the levels, with the official players guide mind you, and I am still missing bonus areas and I don’t even know where!

You can attempt it, providing you don’t get stuck in a table or doorway or something from being a fat burr

Reviewing more Anthrocon footage from 2010, where we went around with 2 PXL2000 cameras (from 1987 that recorded on type 2 90 min audio cassettes, 5-6 minutes per tape side). Here’s @coopertom.bsky.social as Shedz and another cameo by Wild Bill Texas

These 2 soundtracks are my all time favorites. The BTTF one was the full soundtrack limited release back in 2009 or so. The other is a very rare TaleSpin one, not by Disney, but the composer Christopher L. Stone (was never for sale) Both give me huge goosebumps to the point of tears at times.
