My son really hoped the #sunset was going to be amazing. It wasn’t what he hoped for, but sunsets are like pizza. When it’s good, it’s really good. When it’s bad, it’s still pretty good.

It’s that time of year again. The blackberry patch gave up about 8 cups of berries today. They’re not super sweet so far, but the sugar in the recipe makes up for it. I can’t wait for this pie to cool. #baking

A few days ago, I posted a pic from our bird box with three eggs. As I mowed the yard today, I started momma from the box, so I decided to quickly peek inside to see if there were babies. Instead there are more eggs! Six will be a big brood. I can’t wait to see them hatch! #birds

My kids made bird boxes in a carpentry workshop a few years ago. We hung them on posts last year and we got a nest this year! I’m pretty sure these are Western Bluebirds. #birds #nests
