Been playing Star Ocean The Divine Force and damn, it feels like the devs were forced to make this game. It feels so unpolished. Technical issues, jank as hell gameplay, disjointed storyline... But at least the cast is likable. The ost is pretty good too.

I've been looking forward to King's Raid being brought by another company and revived. It was an extremely generous gacha with great artwork and gameplay. EoS really hut me badly. But this. This is worse. Far worse. The new company has decided to redo the assets with AI. WTF! You already have them!

I really wish buy video games wasn't a damn morality issue atm. Ya see, I prefer digital versions of my games. I also have a disc-less PS5. This wasn't an issue until Sony decided to fuck around and I hope they find out. I may prefer digital, but I'm damn against the removal of choice.

Feels weird. Not having played a gacha game in a while. My brain can't turn off the "this just wants me to spend money" thoughts. And the FOMO with everything. That, and the stories just don't end. Or the game gets shut down. Random complaint. But no regrets.

I think what I miss most about having a partner is having someone to talk to at all hours of the night. These silent nights haven't gotten easier. Even thought it's been seven years since I lost my partner to cancer.
