I have two that came in on their own. Dewey was a tiny kitten, but Hank watched me garden & befriended the shop cat next door for over a year. He came to me with an infected cheek, so we took him in. He is fully content with friends & windows to observe his domain from. We got the shop cat too.

I've been able to tolerate a couple of really light fruity ales with a lot of work, but all beer hell on my stomach too. Gruit sounds interesting, let me know how it comes out! You should try some plum wine if you haven't yet. Gekkeikan is the best brand, amazing over ice.

On today's edition of Nature Is Metal, a parasitic wasp thanked me for making my area hospitable to them. They also pollinate my hot peppers!🤘On the flip side, 3 native morning glorys + moonflower & petunias = hawk moth paradise, & the pink ones showed up! 🥲 It's a love/hate relationship now.

I really got my interest into foraging watching Atomic Shrimp on youtube. He's in England, so it doesn't fully translate to me most of the time, but his walk & forage videos are super relaxing & educational. I think I've got mostly European s. nigrans, w/ a little study you can try them too!

Belladonna doesn't exist in the wild in the US, the main 3 species are easy to identify as per feral forager (and your own research). They really are just super tiny sweet tomatoes, think I'm going to call them caviar tomatoes lol.

He canceled more ongoing tests & never made the referrals to a T3 mri & teaching hospital for advanced endocrinology. I asked repeatedly for cyclical cushing's tests that stack easily on top of, nada. He's also made weirdly dismissive comments to my life destroying symptoms in the past as well.

It's hypercortisolism/Cushing's syndrome for me! Only took them 20 years to figure out why I didn't menstruate, narcoleptic symptoms, early bone fusion, weight gain, etc. My high lab levels finally meet modern medical criteria to be considered the source. Before, I just had "lifestyle diseases".
