To my other points, I feel much better about telling Ohioans to abandon Kaptur than I do about telling them to abandon Acton. Living with +1 R in congress being part of a useless minority is less impactful than having to live under Gov. Ramaswamy. And I believe this benefits Dems more long term.

While there are important local elections here, being a Californian and watching other states have meaningful elections that could swing power in the federal govt is bittersweet. On one hand, we don't have an R problem. On the another hand, I have FOMO over all the fun TX/FL Dems may have in Nov.
