Adrien loves to dress well, but he has no one specific outfit. He does, when he sets out on "an adventure" bring lock picks, though. Because you never knew when you might need them, right? (Which he does, of course.)

The last lines are very clear, yeah. I do think having names/knowing that X trait is "a thing" for ADHD people can be useful, both to lower shame, and because names make it easier to share experiences and tips with other ADHD people, but it doesn't solve anything in and of itself.

The funny thing is that for all of these I can go "Here's how I manage that one." I didn't get diagnosed when I was younger in part because ADHD was a "boy thing" and a "bad student thing" but mostly because I had coping strategies for nearly all of it.

Gotta make a listing, but now there are FOUR coloring books. The fourth is half-sized (quarter page) and shorter (12 pages inside, not 28) so it's also cheaper, just $4. It's also "oops, accidentally (almost) all OCs" because the one image here of Daybreaker and Mad Twilight is the only canon one.

Coloring Ponies, with a cover featuring a small nerdy pony sharing a shake with Ember The Changeling (my OC), a center spread with two pegasus ponies smiling lovingly at each other, and two random pages, one featuring Prince as a pony, the other with Daybreaker accompanied by a Mad Twilight.

Anyway, I'm probably getting ahead of myself by talking about tenses on a post on compound words, no doubt there will be a post on tenses in the future. Maybe I'll make up/draw the actual sign for "go" and the past-present-future adjacent signs that go with it.

...there's not really such a thing as a compound word at all. It also is light on tenses. "Go" and "going" and "gone" are all the same word. If you need to indicate time you have to include a separate word for that in your sentence. So you'd sign "did go" rather than "is gone."

Feathersign is light on what we'd call "grammar." It's a fairly primitive language, and in fact has yet to fully branch out into any other languages, though it has local dialects. Primitive isn't a pejorative here, just a descriptive. :3 Anyway, an arm + feather position + sound = a word, so...

The thing I doubt about the eels is relevant to the guy who got his intestine bitten through. I'm sure this was "known about" and talked about, but actually DONE as a regular practice? You'd loose to many horses! There are lots of things people believe happen that really don't, at least not much.

Pretty sure Feathersign is order-independent. So "Bob threw a ball" can be "A ball Bob threw" or "Threw a ball Bob" or whatever else. Yes this is sometimes unclear, but so is English, as anybody who's ever gotten into a fight over a misunderstanding online should know. :D

Done! Not perfect, but I haven't done watercolor in aaaaaaaaaaaages. I kinda want to get transparent watercolors, tho. The opaque ones have benefits! But I'd like to let the line art still show more, and the blending is different, I dunno.

This is hard to draw, but it's moving the full feather group and hand, still in neutral position, from resting at the side, to higher and feathers displayed to the viewer, ready to speak, basically. But with the chirp it's goodbye, not hello.

P.S. While I was out getting mulch I saw this at the Forest Products place. I kinda want it! I can't really justify it, though, I've already spent too much on natural yard decor. But it looks like a whale skull! (It's driftwood.)

The simplest greeting word is a head-bob. The kind of nod that we humans use for a non-verbal hello in passing. It's the "hi" of feathersign. I'll doodle the more formal "hello" or "greetings" in the morning, lol. Night!

Look what I have! I am now in FULL PROJECT MODE on this, though I haven't abandoned the rocks/mulch either, lol. But this is over 100 years old, and it once housed a sewing machine. I'm reworking it to be a "fidget" computer desk, because the treadle and flywheel work beautifully!
