I BEG you to log onto the Epic Games Launcher and get Isonzo when it becomes free on the 12th. Seriously one of the most underrated shooters out there. WW1 small-scale Battlefield done right.

Can we take a second to appreciate how stupid the "PC Master Race" really is? If someone doesn't own a PC they're either happy the way they are, or can't afford one and doesn't need to be reminded of their financial status. Maybe the "console peasants" were right all along. (i do own a pc btw)

A sarcastic "bell curve" style meme, establishing PC users as the nerd in the middle. Obviously lacks a lot of nuance but is lowkey how I'm feeling right now.

This image has been posted by at least a dozen different accounts on Facebook. All of them trying to farm engagement, presumably so they can sell the accounts later. Truly sad the amount of slop your parents are probably consuming by the moment.

An image with a picture of a Nintendo Switch 2 in a shopping bag. next to it is a screenshot of a text conversation that looks suspicious, in which someone is claiming he bought the switch because his girlfriend's son was being picked on. She is mad at him because she needs to pay her bills and it cost like $800. The part that looks photshopped is the boyfriend's texts, it honestly looks like they stole it from somewhere else but I can't find the original image anywhere.

@support.bsky.team so long story short, changing my website's DNS settings caused it to go down. So I changed it back, which invalidated my handle. Now when I use the .txt option Bluesky verifies the file but gives an error when I try to update my handle (spacepickle.co). Can you help with this?

Can't stop thinking about Jimmy Gibbs Jr's stock car in Left 4 Dead 2. I think it's some unholy combination of the Dodge Charger Daytona and non-Daytona.

Jimmy Gibbs Jr's stock car from Left 4 Dead 2. It's blue and has a big rear wing. In the game this is a crucial component of the last section of the first "campaign".

So apparently EA is being bought out for $55 Billion in cash, and going private in the process. I’m hoping this will lead to positive changes in their products but it could also mean even more microtransactions.

Throwback to Gran Turismo 3. The best racing game I've ever played, and possibly my favorite game of all time. Something about trying to get first place on every race is just so satisfying.

getting hung up on the continuity of a nintendo franchise is like losing at chess to a dog, except there isn't a dog and there never was, there isn't a chessboard either, you're not even indoors, you're standing in the parking lot of a shuttered Kmart, a hollow wind blows

Spacepickle’s rule of the internet: If you go anywhere online and ask for hot takes, people will almost always deliver lukewarm takes that everyone agrees with. “Hot take: I only want to use Steam as my game launcher, EA sucks” “Hot take: the dodge viper is the coolest car ever made” Ad infinitum

Enjoy this Forza screenshot while I wait on them to judge the dang screenshot competition

A Land Rover Defender in the game Forza Horizon 5. A pretty cool screenshot if I do say so myself. Also, have you ever noticed that Bluesky’s alt text field is much longer than the normal post field? With a few images you could easily include an entire library of text. Crazy stuff.

Can anyone suggest things to research in order to train and implement my own computer vision model? I use Arch (or windows if necessary). All the tutorials I can find are too outdated to be useful. A tutorial or broad suggestions would be super helpful. Roboflow + YOLO? #ai #computervision #ml

Today I learned from a very long and unnecessary howtogeek article that there is a Linux terminal app called rolldice that does literally nothing but roll dice lol Examples: sudo pacman -S rolldice (self explanatory - installs on Arch) rolldice 3d6 1d20 (rolls 3 d6 and 1 d20 die)
