We don’t have a ton of them, I wasn’t buying a lot of cards at the time and Christina didn’t get back into Pokémon until we got together (right when D/P came out on DS) but I still really like them. I also got this Porygon2 today!

Went to a card show today and bought the 30th anniversary tin with Scraggy (my favorite Pokémon) on it. Then pulled the 30th anniversary card I wanted the most.

I did that “My 9 Games” thing and tried to shoot from the hip and not overthink it. There are lots of games that could easily be here.

Holy crap I NEED this, I LOVE X-Men Evolution! To this day it’s still my favorite X-Men thing.

It’s easy to forget how funny Final Fantasy V is.

We cleared Forked Tower: Magic yesterday! It was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed the fights. I’ve really liked the Occult Crescent content.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my Final Fantasy XIV character?

I have started Final Fantasy V on three separate occasions and never finished it for one reason or another, but I still consider it one of my favorites based entirely on vibes. I started the Pixel Remaster today, and I am DEFINITELY going to see it through this time.

It’s the 13th anniversary of our FFXIV Free Company (and 5 years since my wife and I joined!). We celebrated with a bit, as we do.

Achieved my goal of getting the First Partner card for every starter Pokémon I’ve chosen!

I bought this notepad today because as soon as I saw it I was overcome with a powerful emotion I cannot describe or articulate.

I had never see this Pokémon Park card before but it’s so much my aesthetic I HAD to have it.

Went to a card show with the fam this morning, and managed to trade some doubles/stuff I didn’t want for two big cards I’ve been wanting (Ethan’s Ho-oh/Mega Scrafty). I’m also going for the First Partner card for the starter I picked every generation! Just need Mudkip, Scorbunny and Fuecoco.

It gets a really bad rap but Super Mario Advance is my favorite way to play Super Mario Bros 2. I think it has a ton of personality that makes it a really fun experience. I get why other people don’t like it, but I’m a huge fan.

I picked up Ufouria: The Saga 2 since it was on sale for $4.99 on PS5 and I’m super glad I did. It’s a really fun and quirky sequel to the NES/Famicom original. It’s a Sunsoft game so of course it has banger music as well.

I got this really great Goku figure today. These are the kinds of Dragon Ball figures I like.

I LOVE TITLE SCREENS One of my favorite things about the Wii Shop Channel was it showed every game's title screen. I bought Neutopia based entirely on the title screen and I wound up loving it!

Happy 25th anniversary to Animal Crossing! To say the series changed my life is a DRAMATIC understatement. Crazy to think the GameCube game I bought on a whim in 2002 would lead me to a message board where I would meet friends I’d keep until this day, and my eventual wife!

I know it’s a meme but I genuinely love The Bouncer. It’s fun to play, has insane amounts of style and a killer soundtrack. It’s not a great game, but it’s a COOL game and I love it dearly.

I use the Chewy minion in FFXIV as a stand-in for my real life dog, who doesn't look entirely dissimilar. I was sitting outside in Sharlayan waiting for my group to unlock the new dungeon and took these pictures.

Kiddo was excited about Pokémon again after yesterday so today we browsed the singles binder at the local comic store. I picked some of my favorite boyos.
