Book 10 was heavy. "They Thought They Were Free" is a book about insights into ten ordinary Germans through the N*zi era and their contributions. Lots of parallels to current times. Unsettling thoughts about tendencies towards fascism. 70+ yrs after publication, still an impt. read. #booksky💙📚

Book #9 Box Hill by Adam Mars-Jones was thoroughly engrossing. The basis for the movie PILLION but the book couldn't be more different than the movie to the point where they feel like two nearly completely different stories. Really enjoyed this. Total page turner. #booksky📚💙

Book 14 for the year is "The Fetishist" the final work from Katherine Min and published posthumously. It's an interesting study of the damage done by fetishizing certain types of people.
