connection between the Singham-Evans orbit and
opposition to American data-center construction.
Its official resource page describes data centers
as products of war and instruments for war, states
that they enable military AI and surveillance, and
declares that projects “must be halted wherever
they are.”

Its action page invites supporters to
build a joint struggle against data centers and the
war economy.

The campaign is designed to fuse constituencies.
An April 2026 message described bringing
together concerns about ICE, affordability, war,
water, health, noise, land and environmental harm,
recruiting environmental and antiwar
organizations and using activists’ physical
proximity to projects to confront development.

This is direct evidence of movement strategy. A
participant does not need to share CODEPINK’s
anti-imperialist worldview; the campaign can
recruit through the narrower grievance most
salient in that community.
CODEPINK has also acted locally. Its Milwaukee
chapter reported disrupting a panel titled “How
Data Centers Shape America’s Security and Tech
Future” in order to oppose a $15 billion Vantage
project involving OpenAI and Oracle, then joining
allied organizations in a picket outside the event.

centers as physical infrastructure for mass
surveillance and linked the facilities to OpenAI,
Palantir, military contractors and ICE.
