and even if you can't you can generate a simple noise texture in a lot of things and just drop it into the program you use.

Sour Slushi <3 @sourslushi.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

TY! I use a perlin noise filter that I tune until it looks to my liking, and apply that as an overlay layer over the parts I want to look textured. I use Clip Studio, but most art programs should have something like that, just gotta look. Sometimes I use a brush that has a inky paper texture too.

@angypaws.com I got some of your fucked up burgy thigh-highs and I love them, first ones I've gotten that fit well too! The packaging is always super cute and whoever Solstice is did a great job with packing them, if they have ref I'd love to draw them. ~🧡🤍💚❤️🧡🤎🧡🤎💚🤍🧡

Don't just say it's unconstitutional, remind people that the constitution is full of very good ideas designed to prevent authoritarianism, and most people who want to ignore it want that specifically because they are authoritarian.

Reminder that art is to be viewed. In the past it was hung on walls. Displayed in churches. One would see it many times. Let's battle the streaming culture where we look at something for five seconds to immediately forget it forever.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references. Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

Hear me out — If parents call colleges freaked about their FAFSA data being leaked, schools may have to issue statements — which would reach a whole lot more families about how warped this is. Organizing isn’t always calling electeds. Sometimes it’s just calling people with a bigger megaphone.

The sharkfolk of the surface have advanced greatly in technology over the ages, but it is not known how far the Aphotean societies have advanced. Some believe that their civilization has remained stagnant in time, anchored in immutable traditions. But perhaps we are underestimating them.

An Aphotean artifact found stranded on a beach after a great storm in the open sea. It is an intricate sculpture, possibly a ceremonial idol of the eccentric Aphoteans of the six gill slits (Bluntnose sixgill shark - Hexanchus griseus).

The carved figure appears to be embracing an unusual-looking blue gem, which emits a soft, almost imperceptible hiss. But those who come close feel something else: a subtle vibration interfering with the ampullae of Lorenzini. Both the gem and the material of the sculpture are unknown.

And these are my own plush pattern, some simple sea bunnies, and some bee themed sea bunnies I just call "bee bunnies" <3

A plush resembling a simplified blue sea bunny, with a white belly, and white inner ears, sitting atop a blanket, sitting atop a chair.

A pair of plush sea bunnies, the same blue one as the prior image, and an orange one with a gold belly and gold inner ears. They are sitting on the back of a couch.

A front angle of plush sea bunnies which have a striped bee like pattern along their bodies, one of them of yellow and blue, and one of them with yellow and maroon. They have white bellies and inner ears, and are sitting atop a couch.

A side angle of the aforementioned "Bee Bunnies", they are stacked on one another facing opposite directions, still on the couch.

Here's a pic of some of the stuffies I made my friends for Christmas, they're all BeeZeeArt patterns and I'm quite happy with how they turned out!

A yellow manta ray plushie sitting atop a couch cushion.

A yellow shark plushie with a lemon wedge patterned fabric for it's belly, sitting atop the uncut fabric used to make it.

The underside of the yellow shark plushie showcasing the lemon halves and wedges patterning the fabric underneath.

A maroon variant of the manta ray plushie, sitting atop my couch.

I know this is completely outta nowhere, and I'm busy with many other things. But out of curiosity is there a market for Minecraft skin comms? I made one for my partner recently and I think I'm alright at it, not to mention it's a fast process. Here's mine and his for reference:

A Minecraft skin of my character Syrup standing next to a large blocky ravine.
She is a frog fox slug person thing.

A Minecraft skin of my bee-friends character in front of a large landscape.
He is a honey bee guy
