fwiw, this ER trip had the funniest/randomest cause so far: i tilted my head a few degrees & my neck cracked in a way that strained a few muscles pretty bad. had to make sure the arteries didn't get damaged too

nope, was in the ER for ~10 hrs instead. thankfully ok, just a bad muscle strain but they needed to do imaging to make sure it wasn't something significantly worse

i haven't had low enough pain in the right combination of places to play video games for more than ~2 hrs total in the last 3 months. i'd cross my fingers for tomorrow, but i do need my fingers to work if i want to try playing anything. i'd try now but my left knee is awful

i already ate more, couldn't help it. i've eaten 18oz of tomato Parmesan bisque, 2 english muffins, 3 tiny donuts, & a delicious munster/mayo/bacon/sourdough sandwich in the last 8 hrs. still hungry. lol pretty sure popsicles or ice cream is next (hopefully I'll wait at least a few hrs this time)

chronic pain fucks w/ my appetite a lot, it's pretty funny how hungry i get any time my shoulders, upper back, & ribs are mostly aligned. sucks that i have a sore throat though, i want to keep eating all day but i need to resist the urge or i'll make it worse

every once in a while, i remember the stupidest text i've ever gotten. in response to a text informing a former roommate what her share of bills was that month, she texted "What did you do with the money i gave you for bills last month?". this was, somehow, a 30yo woman who didn't understand bills

i spend way more time with my heating pad than with other people these days. my hips are in so much pain, pretty sure the right hip keeps dislocating. at least my doctor confirmed my suspicion that it's probably never worth going to urgent care for a dislocation

a "fun" thing i've been experiencing a lot over the past decade: my adams apple dislocates. it takes a long time to figure out that it's happened too, so it'll stay that way for weeks or months. good news is that i can manually pop it back in place after i know but it doesn't feel right at all

was just eating dinner & found out that Herbie has not just the 1 sibling i was sure of or even the 2 i suspected. he's got 3, so we have 4 young (~10m-1yr) rabbits that live in our yard. one of them was cracking me up by standing on his hind legs for minutes at a time. the cherries were a good call

looks like getting cherries for Herbie is paying off, not only does he love them but his sibling does too. i rarely see his sibling, but they both came to the patio right away this morning & snacked on cherries and grapes. oh, also found out that robins eat grapes too? well, at least this one does

one fun thing about having a connective tissue disorder is that i've discovered so many yoga poses on my own, just by trying to get my joints/spine to pop back into alignment. i have to be careful since it can actually make things worse, but if i didn't stretch a lot each day i'd be in worse pain :/
