Another #Lorcana set champs, another 2nd place. That make 3 times at 2nd place and once at 3rd. I'm happy to have the playset now, but the lack of a 2nd place mat continues to sting. The pursuit and disappointment is exhausting.

I did my second #Lorcana Set Champs today. And I got 2nd for a second time. The lack of runner-up mat doesn't feel great. It definitely stings to get that far and get the same prize as 8th place. The meta feels really healthy and the experience was otherwise great.

Between set 6 and set 7, we have now opened 11 booster boxes in a row without seeing a single enchanted. 8 of those boxes were in respective sealed cases. How bad is this luck? Are we cursed? #Lorcana

Hot take. The mass adoption of bots and greedy engagement-based matchmaking algorithms have made me completely disengage from all PVP games using them. It completely defeats the purpose of competitive play and immediately makes those games uninteresting. I hope the industry finds its way back.

After seeing most of the #Lorcana Archazia's Island reveals, I am very excited for it. There are lots of new mechanics that expand the game in many ways. However, I am mostly disappointed in the execution of most of the dual-ink cards. 1/x

I tried this original pile of my creation at Set Champs today. It actually played pretty well. Unfortunately, I ran into 3 aggro decks and couldn't find them all off. Katie ran her Steelfasa to top8 again. 3 Scars for K&K so far! #Lorcana

This build was basically a Luau because it had Roast Pyg. It even beat a Lizard build that had me over 1000 poison when they died.

This was a fun build in @playthebazaar.bsky.social. It was pretty unstoppable, taking its only loss on day 1. The speed of the Atlatl and the high damage Caltrops did quick work of those Lizard builds. And the Octopus did enough burst to take down the Awakened District.

Feeling a bit frustrated with the last patch of @playthebazaar.bsky.social. My main hero Pyg feels unplayable without huge high rolls. The rays and poison out scale at all stages of the game with zero counter play. I understand that it's beta and they need to try things, but this patch isn't for me.

Crook might still be strong. This was my first 10-win with post-patch Pyg. Those Dooley Ray builds are hard to beat, but this build made quick work of them. I didn't get the 10-win screenshot because it bugged on the Steam Deck. @playthebazaar.bsky.social

Perfect victory with a Birds and Bees build in @playthebazaar.bsky.social. I even ran into some familiar ghosts along the way! It makes me a little sad that Pyg absolutely HAS to hit Vineyard to have a chance in the current meta, but this run shows the power of hitting it early.

After playing quite a bit of Pyg in the current @playthebazaar.bsky.social meta, it seems incredibly clear that permanent slow and freeze are far too easy for Vanessa and Dooley to obtain without sacrificing any damage and with not nearly enough counterplay options are available to Pyg.
