I made a starter pack for staying updated on all the internet censorship and surveillance bullshit that's happening and how to fight back

![Script for calling senators, August 4, 2026:
Hi! I’m a constituent of Senator [name], and I have two things that I want the senator to know.
First, Trump has nominated Adam Candeub for the Justice Department's Antitrust Division. I would like the senator to vote against his appointment. Among other things, he wants to bring back anti-obscenity laws like the Comstock Act.
Second, KOSA and the SCREEN Act are scheduled to go before the Senate Commerce Committee tomorrow. Whether or not it makes it out of committee, I would like the senator to vote against these bills. They do not protect children, but instead age-gate the Internet, violate our privacy, and put our personal information at risk.

[staff may ask if you have anything else you want to say]
That’s all I wanted to say today.
[staff will likely say they will pass along your message]
Thanks, have a great day!](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:e2wk7ytsyd5kkoajilglbq5f/bafkreiaglu6h2oss54lfrc34jk6ddkn6deahqcimcgxucrcpbwadbhkjiu)
