I can *kind of* get it. There are a number of furries I've encountered with the attitude that if they can't fuck you (for real or RP), they aren't interested in being your friend. It's a stupid idea, of course, and I doubt it's widespread enough to stop folks from making friends at all, though.

Not in public until maybe 10 years ago, but many themes of the books hint at some very awful opinions. She also continues to spend money to hurt people, and publicly stated that she believes support from fans is endorsement of her views, so many consider fanart like this to be hateful.

I think a lot of people were disappointed that this didn't end up being "Square-enix Rune Factory." I found it to really be more of an RPG first, and a farming game second, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're expecting them to be blended as well as RF, you're going to be disappointed.
