A Black man named Keith Porter was shot and killed by an ICE officer on New Year’s Eve. Marimar Martinez was shot five times by an ICE officer in Chicago who went on to brag about leaving seven holes in her body. This is not new but it is expanding.

As you process the impossible abomination of an innocent woman murdered by her own government, pay attention to the stories: stories claiming she was killed in self defense, calling her a terrorist, describing her attempt to escape from a trap, describing her as a hero. Only retell true stories.

One does not want to agree with Marjorie Taylor Greene, but she is right in this case that all the Epstein files should be released. I don't like her use of the term "insane," and I most emphatically disapprove of the President's calling people "stupid." WORDS DO THINGS.

I read a strange, fascinating book last week: THE FALLING TOWER by Meg Moseman. It featured 4 genius college kids calling up Charles Williams and together defeating an evil AI corporation called Babel. It was almost a work of genius. Alas, it fell down in the end. #reading #books #Inklings

I heard from a teacher-friend recently that her school is using AI to grade student essays. And of course we know the students are using AI to write their essays. So school these days is just the robots writing the papers and grading their own papers in an empty circle.
