Prefacing this by saying I do think Riku and Kairi are good friends that care for each other (or at least that's what I think the story wants me to think) but I don't agree with their KH1 depictions of them as this cute duo/potential couple. Riku treats her like garbage in KH1 and like a trophy

I'm of the opinion that Kairi could and absolutely should be treated better in the Kingdom Hearts story, and as of right now I don't feel very strongly for her as I want to. However I do want people who don't care for her to be able to properly explain the role she plays without shipping goggles.

What sins did I commit in my past life to be subjected to unfiltered sexual Naoto Persona 4 inflated boobs art on my feed right now. I hate this place

I really need to find out what the hell bluesky algorithm is reading on my likes for it to keep producing posts of unfiltered fetish art and not-overtly-sexual-but-still-sexual art on my for you page to my dismay

Not finished with it yet but I'm really loving this new EN FGO event not just because I get to see more of my goat Kadoc but it establishes interesting questions about the imposition and definition of perfectionism especially on children. Hope the event fully goes through with it

I don't know if it's because most people don't bother doing the Selphie/Tidus/Wakka fight in KH1 but I was always surprised at the amount of vitriol expressed at the Riku fight since I found the former to be harder. The thing that used to piss me off about Riku in the prologue was that damn race

Roxas - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Roxas, alone, wearing his Organisation 13 black coat with the hood up. In his right hand he is holding the stick from a sea-salt ice cream between his fingertips, the word "WINNER" written on it as it is in-game. His left hand is raised up to the hood, keeping it pulled over his head. The background is more abstract, featuring a colourful silhouette of the Organisation's castle in The World That Never Was, the moon-like Kingdom Hearts situated high above it. All other background details are made up of solid rectangles and light motes.

And I also noticed that a loud minority of Soriku shippers with stupid takes receive more hate and ridicule than the people who go around calling shippers pedophiles and homophobic+transphobic slurs. ALL THAT OVER FICTIONAL CHARACTERS FROM THE FUNNY DISNEY AND SQUARE GAME??? 😭

Twitter is peak experience once you block all KH accounts arguing about ships all the everyday. I do NOT want to see screenshots of posts over 6 years old of questionable takes about Kairi or Sokai or whatever. People like this are in every damn fandom, and most of them migrated to other media

You block one account on KH twitter and suddenly all the miserable tweets on the timeline disappear

Every time KH fans recycle discourse KH games after 4 get delayed one year

soup @sooooooob.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

It's no wonder why some people over there are so apprehensive when talking with Riku and Soriku fans. They got some fandom grandmas over there whose entire purpose of consuming the series is for shipping and gooning to the point they'll even misrepresent other characters' dynamics. Crazy work

soup @sooooooob.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

LMAO twitter Riku fans have the worst optics of all time now after that one account from tumblr made an account and started sharing their takes that definitely should've stayed in the drafts

Chain of Memories lock-on outside of battles is actually terrible and the most annoying thing about the game besides the general repetitiveness of the gameplay loop

Depending on how you look at all the Riku Kingdom Hearts Fortnite dances, he either has the most aura loss of this generation from this collab or the most aura gain there's no in between
