The Necros Tangled up b/w The Nile Song, a Pink Floyd cover from 1985. This was the era when many hardcore punk bands got tired of playing thrash and went metal. The Nile Song rules! #punk #musicsky #vinyl #nowplaying

Tonight by David Bowie. This record doesn't suck, but as that implies these songs are not up to his highest standards. Other than a tragic attempt at Reggae its an enjoyable listen, especially if you like mid-80s production. #vinyl #nowplaying #bowie #musicsky

This TSOL aka True Sounds of Liberty record "Beneath the Shadows" a personal favorite. Still punk AF, more melodic with keyboard/synth in a lead role. The title song and Walk Alone are standouts. I was fortunate to see them live on this tour in 1983. #vinylsky #vinylcommunity #nowplaying #punk

#nowspinning The Residents "Mark of the Mole" my favorite album of theirs. Side two is dark, moody, verging on early trance/trip-hop. "Mole people" displaced by natural disasters, immigration crisis, man trying to invent an intelligent machine, it deals with many universal themes. #vinylcommunity
