Resident Evil 4 Remake: 8 Beaten 10/2/2026 Admittedly I started playing this in December last year and just got around to beating it, but this was such a fun roller coaster, capcom really does know how to make a good game

Connecticut residents, do you have a plan to vote? These midterms are incredibly important! Learn the 3 ways to vote in CT! Was so excited to work on this with the @acluct.bsky.social organization to make sure everyone has a plan to vote!

Stealing my neighbor's wifi mind you lmao we didn't get that in our house until like 2010

what the youngsters probably don't remember/realize is this might have been the first wi-fi enabled device in people's houses. People (myself included) absolutely used a ton of the internet features on my Wii

My list is eerily similar lol, but man Paper Mario for the N64 really has insane charm none of the sequels really did capture

I actively try to hold my cat outside to get her used to it and she claws her way out of my arms before I even get to the door, she hates it out there lol. Don't blame her.

It's National Voter Registration Day🗳️ What a great day to introduce our voter education campaign: Plan Your Vote, CT! With the midterm elections coming, we want every CT voter to know their 3 options to vote this year. Your first move: visit planyourvotect.org and get started on your plan to vote.

On a dark green background, there are three lines of voting bubbles on the right of the graphic. To the left of the bubbles/centered with a left alignment in the graphic is the following text in white: "Whether you’re voting absentee, early in-person, or in-person on Election Day, we want to make sure Connecticut voters have everything they need to make a plan to vote amidst all the noise around the upcoming election. From key deadlines to voting rights guidance to information on the three ways to vote in Connecticut, you can find it all at planyourvotect.org." and "planyourvotect.org" is in light green, bolded, and underlined in red.

It's unfortunately night and day lol. Once I even was just running around the wild area, it's like I'm actually playing a game and not just sludging through some movements 😂

Pokemon Violet: strong 8 Beaten: 9/13 Mannn, I'm glad I waited and played this on a console that competently ran it, and well. This really is the right step and direction Pokemon should be going in, this made me infinitely more excited for winds and waves! Area 0 was so cool.

Are you voting early? Well, you have until August 9th to vote early for the Primary! Find everything you need to be ready to vote early at planyourvotect.org 🗳️💪 And remember, in CT, you can only participate in primary elections if you're affiliated with a party and can only vote for your party.

The chintzy-looking M64 clone console of the N64 by a company named ModRetro has been released, I think, I don't pay attention that closely to shit. But as the great @frankcifaldi.bsky.social posted before, it is our civic duty to push back against this company and shun ANYONE who doesn't.

In the middle of the night I had this idea for something i'm gonna write and thought "oh I'll remember it in the morning" and then my consciousness turned into David Lynch and he told me "If you forget this idea you're going to want to commit suicide" So I wrote it down.

At the theater to see End of Evangelion and walked into maybe 5 or 6 people already in here in complete silence staring at me like I'm the degenerate for seeing the movie they're also seeing

Haha yeah agreed, my partner and I are currently watching through all the X-Men movies (to likely start a whole MCU rewatch before this) and like Days of Future Past/Logan should've been the end 😭

I feel like most people feel this way about Endgame which obviously had its problems but I still felt it was a fun rollercoaster. I *hope* this is good, but wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.

Jimmy Fitch-DeSimone @sonnavafitch.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

They're just qualifying already existing screens as "infinity vision", if you go to a theater you like and it has an infinity vision branding, it's going to be the same exact screen haha

001

Jimmy Fitch-DeSimone @sonnavafitch.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Disney's answer to premium screens because Dune is going to take over IMAX when Doomsday is out. In reality it's just Disney saying "this screen good 👍"

Jimmy Fitch-DeSimone @sonnavafitch.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Maybe someday IMAX will see the sold out showings every 70mm release as an opportunity to build new projectors and venues 🙃
