#AGDQ2027 submissions are a go. These aren't the best submission and I hate that I have to rush these out given how little time I have nowadays, however it's also super encouraging seeing the list of games I can submit continue to increase each time. I guess we'll see how it goes.

List of runs I have submitted for Awesome Games Done Quick 2027. From Top to Bottom is Dynamite Headdy, Sonic Advance, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Metal Slug X.

29:47 -> 22:58 Got to make some big progress this weekend. Unfortunately I might have to put this on hold as I get ready for marathon season. Still, this'll be a nice place to stop for now. I definitely want to get back to this at some point though.

I also tried doing a run of Knights of the Round, which I figured would be the next game I take a look at. Compared to King of Dragons, this is way more up my alley of focusing more on execution rather than hoping RNG plays well. I think this one should be fun.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! I think I'm done with King of Dragons for now. As fun as this was, I got plenty of other games I want to tackle and the last thing I want to do is grind this down to the point of it not being fun anymore. In any case, this was a nice stop so to speak.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Sub-27 at last. I might want to spend one more night of trimming this time down, but otherwise I think I'm getting close to done. King of Dragons has been interesting to say the least.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Sub-27 is gonna be a lot more difficult than I had envisioned. Makes sense given how RNG heavy this can get, but it just means that I'm gonna have to study up a little bit on how to deal with bad luck considering a critical upgrade can just "not" spawn.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! This should put me square into 4th place, I think? I don't care enough about board placement to make that my main motivator, but I've been having a good time with KoD at least. I think I'll push for a 25-26 before I'm satisfied here.

Thank y'all for tuning in! I've always wanted to try King of Dragons. What seemed like a cozy beat'em'up actually ended up being far more frantic & aggressive than I ever imagined. I might have to mess with this one for a bit before I find a more serious project in the future.

I've been looking forward to this all week. Today is the release of LURRUNA - The Island of Towering Automations. I can't wait to finally experience some good-ol classic Castlevania action (with more explosions of course). Thank you @pd-cgt.bsky.social for the Steam Code! www.twitch.tv/sonikkustar

Managed to go see #TheOdyssey yesterday. This is the best Nolan film, bar none. As someone who doesn't really like his films, this is the first time I watched a movie of his and can actually say that I genuinely liked something of his. No caveats needed!

Update from my Discord regarding things. If you'd like to keep up with everything I do, then you're more than welcome to join my Discord! It's usually where I'm most active nowadays (never been good at social media myself): discord.gg/AfW36e4

Message from my Discord server. It reads:

Hey @everyone,

It's getting to that time of the year again. My plan was originally going to really focus on Advance 1 speedruns since I'd like to run that at different events at some point. Unfortunately real-life decided that I was going to do all the fieldwork, so my schedule is booked until July at the earliest. As much as I want to squeeze in streaming in the interim, I need to focus on my career in order to support my friends/family.

I'm taking a break from streaming for the time being, as well as just the internet in general. If there's anything you need or want to get in touch, your best bet is to send me a DM or being here in my Discord. Otherwise, I'll do what I can to be more active and spend time with friends.

Thank y'all for sticking around this whole time!

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Knuckles is coming along nicely. I gotta learn the AIZ1 skip with him so that I'd at least have 3 characters down. Otherwise, I'm glad I'm getting the movement down especially since I'm switching between 4 characters.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Last night's stream was a short one, but I was able to clean up lot's of mistakes as well as learn a big skip in Angel Island 1. I'm so close to breaking another milestone here, like I can practically feel that sub-20 in the palm of my hands.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Now that every character is at a sub-25, I think it's now just a matter of building up consistency. I'm so glad I'm able to reach this point. Next goal will likely be sub-20 for everyone, though that might take some time.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! I'm glad I can still PB after taking such a long break. Aside from that, it looks like I can consistently get under 25 minutes for each character (aside from Amy which I gotta look into). Either way, it's nice to spend time with friends again.

Came across a congregation of these yesterday while out in the field. I'm not super well versed with gastropods, but iNaturalist said these are Leopard Slugs which I know is blatantly incorrect lol. I think these could be Milky Slugs. #biosky

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! Having characters that play pretty similar certainly helps lol. There's still some things I'd like to iron out before I return to Tails to learn the final stretch of the game, but I'm glad I'm able to make progress in other areas.

7. Billy Hatcher Another game that should be right up my alley. I've done a few ILs of this over the years, but have only done 1 full game run a long time ago. A real shame considering this is essentially a Sonic game but also it's Glover for some reason.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! This ain't the PB I was aiming for, but it's the PB that I ended up getting. Even if Tails is starting to get a little more difficult, I'm glad I can progress with other characters in the meantime.

6. Rayman Origins Speaking of Rayman, my favorite game in the series also happens to be a really neat speedrun with some incredibly fun movement! I'd probably run a category that doesn't involve death-warps, but 100% has yet to have a run on SRC and I'd love to pioneer that category at some point.

Sonikkustar @sonikkustar.bsky.social · 28/03/2026

5. Rayman 2 (N64 Version) This was one of the first 3D platformers I've ever played, and seeing the speedrun for this evolve to where it is now has been so mesmerizing to witness. It's longer than most games I usually run, but running this would be a huge milestone for me as well given its history.

4. Legend of Zelda: Four Sword Adventures FSA has a special place in my heart as one of the few Zelda games I got to beat with my sister. It's part of the reasons why I loved this game so much back then and would love to honor that time by play this again in the way I play most games nowadays.

3. Viewtiful Joe Yes I know I'm cheating here since I've already ran this, but it was only for like 2-3 runs. I never took the time to actually *learn* anything aside from the completely obvious which is really a shame. I feel like this'd be right up my alley if I just sit down & take a look.

2. Mega Man Powered Up My favorite Mega Man game. I always loved the movement in this one and have already looked into the run a long time ago just for curiosity. If I can manage to capture PSP footage in a way that's not too taxing for me, I'd jump on this in a heartbeat.

1. Shining Force I'd probably consider this to be my ultimate goal in speedrunning. A multi-hour RPG is one of the last things I've always wanted to tackle in my time doing this hobby before I retire for good. I just gotta take the time to actually play through SF first, lol.

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! I learned a new skip in Secret Base 2 which should make that stage much more fun to go through. I still got some other skips to learn as well as general optimizations all around, but Advance 1 still manages to be a good 'ol time!

Thank y'all for tuning in last night! I think Sonic & Tails are now in a good spot, and trying out Knuckles & Amy afterward was a nice treat. Getting the sub-20 feels like quite the milestone especially with how wild AI1 was during that run lol.
