Yeah, it was so weird on PS5. I got far into the game before it became detrimental but by that point I couldn’t go back to reg controls as everything in the game was too dangerous to learn new controls while fighting so persevered with the half done motion controls lol

Yeah still missing the lava room right? I also feel Ada and Wesker are better voice directed in the DLC than the main game (I felt all the antagonists felt off in the main game while Leon, Ashley, and Louis rocked) so no that is another bonus in its favour

In my mind the prison and labyrinth combined in the original were one area, in the remake they expanded each of them to be the size of the hospital and apartments which themselves were expanded to be three times as large as in the original game. It’s all individually great but together is exhausting

What!? It’s generally really liked, even loved. A huge surprise since bloober’s previous work has left ppl justifiably apprehensive at the idea of them being involved but they somehow came thru. Tho the main dislikes are too much combat and and expanding each area evenly which kills the pacing.

Yeah, it was pretty near universally praised. The main crit being they expanded every area uniformly which messed up the pacing (the prison didn’t need to be the same length as the hospital & the same for the labyrinth) But it’s like now I have a couple delicious birthday cakes, tasty but too much

Cannot imagine playing SH like that; it’s simply not designed for it. I’ve beaten 2 on hard and slowly got through most of 1 (tho not gotten further as my PS2 stopped reading PS1 games ) and they already feel unbalanced as is (particularly SH1, which didn’t feel play-tested on that difficulty)

I can’t think of the last time that happened to me. I’ve honed in on what I like, so I buy stuff that will click. The type of gamers who play everything is a mystery to me. I still feel the sting of Alone in the Dark on Xbox 360 cos god that game was so disappointing it made me more cautious, lol

Yeah, I get ya. I can only speak for myself & I just wanted to point out Nintendo did shift the presentation to something better for the released game cos many forget what the reveal looked like. It’s not as stark as the Ninja Theory DMC reboot which looked awful while the final game was just blah.

There is also this weird philosophy many Nintendo fans have: “If you care about graphics the gameplay suffers; that’s why Nintendo don’t push graphics!” So they get scared of seeing a graphically intense Nintendo game cos they gaslit themselves that gameplay vs graphics is a zero-sum game.

They adjusted WW a fair bit from the reveal to the final product. Very different tone in that trailer. (Even then most of the character designs don’t work for me in it besides like 4 but I love the environment rendering and most of the monsters in the cel-shading style)

Hard to tell from a video but that doesn’t seem too different from UK showers. I’d only heard about US water pressure cos Trump keeps whining about it so I dismissed it since he is a big baby (and apparently you can remove a filter from the shower head to undo a lot of it )

It’s the same on ps5 last I checked. Tho the gyro aiming on RE4 was a bit weird, i can’t remember why exactly but I think it restricted being able to fine tune with the stick to just up and down or something like that. Dunno if switch 2 is better about it.

The only good they’ve done in living memory was funding Alan Wake 2, which is such a statistical blip for them so it's not like we are missing out on much by avoiding them even more. (UE5 is okay but another engine would have popped up for devs to use anyway if it didn’t exist )
