Oh I thought this was about Titan Tails from Archie but that took a last second turn.

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

It’s technically consuming any DNA, so…. I actually forgot that they show how they figure it out until just now so you won’t be disappointed.

I am very hot and insane and actually really enjoyed it! It’s basically a decent PS2 licensed platformer. (Positive)

This month was real light, but some real highlights of the year in this one!!

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

😤. I’ve probably had more than you.

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I’m the husband, here’s my theater selfie. (It was during the commercials before they dim the lights; I’m not an asshole.)

I love the boys, but aside from SH2 this feels like a list written by someone who’s guessing at what a good story is from context clues.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I was a good kid and never asked. 😭. By the time I was 16 my parents didn’t care. I remember my dad getting carded for buying Halo 3.

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

As a fellow Digimon fan, I get it! I never could (and still don’t) like the monster raising aspects of World 1 and its contemporaries. At least we have Time Stranger now lol.

110

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Digimon World 2 is the one that scares me the most thinking about going back to it, I never understood it as a kid and I’ve heard some bad things about the digivolution system as an adult. But I can always respect picking the underdog.

110

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Alright, so a couple of weeks into the month is better late than never. Marvel movies clutter things up because they’re so quick and easy, but still a fair amount of games as well.

100

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Oh shit, he’s Tallarico, I don’t give enough of a shit about him to notice the difference.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Man, my brain is broken because I thought this was about Tommy Talarico, who definitely should not run for any kind of office, but I could completely believe that he would do it.

110

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I had to turn off CEC because that gave my toddler too much power. One button press to turn everything on is too much responsibility for a 3 year old.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

The SQ Big Walk Crew is the best crew.

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

Better late than never. Smaller month but I’m just playing so many games at the same time. Also starting to maybe catch up on Marvel movies so that’s sure to bloat the coming months.

101

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

My wife got sad and decided she missed my old high school screen name. So I’m reviving it I guess!

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

This is why I romanticized living in a big city as a kid. I had nothing for third spaces growing up but I knew they existed. I just thought it was a consequence of growing up in a rural area. Hell, I wished I lived in a suburb so I could at least maybe have a cool neighbor.

020

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Yeah, I don’t wake up until 7:40 so I’m getting more hours than you. (Plus blessed with a kid that sleeps in so I can push it to 9 on the weekend.) Early bedtimes was like one of the main reasons why I got myself out of a shift I had to be at by 6:30. Going to bed early feels awful for me.

110

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

12 AM - 1 AM. 2 if I’m feeling spicy/wanting extra time because a pre order unlocked at midnight. I’ve always been a night owl, without a kid I would probably still be staying up until 3 on the weekends.

110

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

The only thing I know about Jelly Roll is that he did a song for the 3rd Sonic movie, and it’s by far one of the worst pieces of music associated with the franchise I’ve ever heard.

050

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

I mean, Hades interacts with Aqua (voiced by Willa Holland) in Birth by Sleep. And I’m pretty sure he would voice Hades for free because he loves the character so much. So honestly, probably not lol.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

June’s been a good month! Hit 100 in the general count, finished some games, and basically the entirely to Eva. July’s about to get busy with some new game releases as well.

100

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

So you get one good game, one game many people dislike and skip, and one game that’s not playable. 2/3rds of the series by that point is most likely watched instead of played. Just do release order and let the people play! (Or do a proper port of Days, it hits way better if you play it.)

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Even ignoring the story problems (of which there are many) of doing the Days cutscenes before 2…. It also just isn’t fun. You go from Re:CoM, which is controversial, to a 3 hour cutscene movie that, let’s be honest, is kind of boring and just barely adequate as a summary of the game.

100

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

They’re double checking your work. Little do you know that spring is the most important part of the whole cabinet.

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

So next month is going to be interesting.

000

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Every time I interact with Sword Art Online, I feel like I have an existential crisis. There is genuinely so much I love and hate about this series.

100

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

The discourse never seems to extend beyond “I was blindsided by a sex scene in a movie I was watching with my parents” and they never seem to fully recover from that.

080

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

It’s been over 20 years. Not only have most people let that go, but a good portion of people weren’t born yet or were still shitting in a diaper when that happened.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

I’ve spent so many years regulating my walking speed to match my wife’s, if I’m walking alone it’s like Rock Lee taking off his weights.

050

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Someone at Square intuited how crazy it would be if someone kept talking about how they had to find “Leon” and it turned out to be Squall. They just didn’t expect it to be a Disney crossover fever dream.

010

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

I know Google isn’t the beacon of light it once was, but buddy…. Come the fuck on.

040

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

The fact he didn’t redact her and you can see her in almost every other shot when he goes into the store is wild. I kept calling her out like she was snuck in as a reference.

030

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

I love that they have a skin toggle. The idea that someone spent way too much money on skins in a first person game, and the potential that every single person they’re playing with can’t see it because they have the toggle on, is just too perfect.

040

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Been a while since I’ve had to use two screenshots. Have really been springing into a lot of different stuff this month, hopefully the momentum carries throughout the whole summer.

From the creators of the Sonic series comes a brand new game:

I love when you tell the exact moment when your settings load after the title screen because the audio instantly lowers.

April is over and done with! Still a lot of Resident Evil, but made it back to the theaters for Mario, and watching more movies too.

100

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

This is the way, it has the most games in one package, and you can basically just progress in release order. Whether or not you’re dipping your toes in or committing to going all in, I gotta throw my hat in the ring for KH1. Gotta start at the beginning with a series like this.

001

Sonic10122 @sonic10122.bsky.social · 01/04/2026

March is over! Resident Evil Requiem is already feeling like it might be my GOTY, and it was great getting to finish Mario Galaxy 1 with the kiddo. (And we’re diligently working on Galaxy 2.)

In lore it’s an “experimental thermobaric bomb.” The original RE3 ending does show total obliteration with numerous key areas being shown as getting vaporized, but they walked it back in the remake, which is the new “canon”. Also mushroom clouds are just cool.
