First hotel we couldn’t control the under-window mounted AC unit and asked at the front desk and they said “Oh, there’s a thermostat on the wall behind the lamp” which there was. Second hotel same deal, so I checked out all the walls first and finally found the thermostat, but not behind a lamp.
