Couldn’t be me… It absolutely could be me :’) How do this many typos manage to slip through so many different editors and beta readers 😂 sneaky #booksky #bookmemes #indieauthor

Text reads “when you go back to read your published book just for fun and are enjoying it” next to a person looking happy

Text readers: “you find the most horrendous typo that turns an entire sentence into gibberish” next to a person looking sad

One thing I noticed time and time again with a lot of books is that characters go through some really rough things in their stories, but feel no effects afterwards. Wouldn’t your characters struggle after seeing the stuff they see? 📚💙 #booktok #booksky #indieauthor

In all seriousness though, this really has been a massive labour of love. I’ve always been on the side of platonic love wins over romantic love, and writing this book really solidified it. In a world of Romantasy, someone has to write about Platonicasy! Did I invent a new genre? #writing #author

A copy of a book surrounded by fantastical props on a wooden backdrop. The text reads The Lion's Apprentice, by Rebecca Wylde

Back cover of a book surrounded by fantastical props on a wooden backdrop. The text reads
"What happens when two worlds in peril collide? As Aquis and Earth struggle to fight a war on both sides, a young apprentice with a unique gift may be their only hope.
After the death of a human, for some, the life of a miathian lies ahead. A race imbued with magic, halfway between a human and demigod.
Fiaran is a warrior apprentice with a unique gift hidden from him. When a mysterious individual threatens peaceful life in Aquis, the young apprentice and his mentor are tasked with discovering what is going on in the shadows, meeting with history long forgotten along the way.
Back on Earth, humans fight a futile war against miathian exiles and rebels. Can they succeed in their fight with the help of two unlikely allies?"
