#BlueSkyArtShow #GoldenHour Wandering between cows and cars in Montana. Sep. '18. #EastCoastKin #ECK #Photography #Vintage #Montana #CarPhotography

A landscape colour photo of an old, probably from the sixties or seventies, car without wheels in a grassy field. The car is looking from the bottom right to about the top left, as if staring in the distance, contemplating life and how it ended up here. The rear window is missing, the black exterior has had better times, the chrome trim is actually still nice. The sun lights up the sides of the coupé, former, muscle car in a bright, warm, yellow light. It could be a scene from an apocalyptic videogame.

A square colour photo of my back from about my neck with some hair visible, to about my hips. I have one hand placed on my left shoulder, other on my hip, as if being hugged. My nails are coloured dark purple and pink, like the Cheshire cat. The light from the left is white and from the right it is yellow. the center of my back is dark, but you can sort of make out some vage shapes.

Não Tem Tradução 📷2024

A photographic composition inspired by the song "Não Tem Tradução" (It Cannot Be Translated), composed by Brazilian samba artist Noel Rosa and made famous by Aracy de Almeida, specifically the passage that goes:
Essa gente hoje em dia
Que tem a mania
Da exibição
Não se lembra que o samba
Não tem tradução
No idioma françês
Tudo aquilo
Que o malandro pronuncia
Com voz macia
É brasileiro, já passou de Português

(These folks nowadays
Who have the habit
Of showing off
Forget that samba
Cannot be translated
Into French;
Everything
That the *malandro* utters
In a soft voice
Is Brazilian, it has gone beyond Portuguese)

In the image, a pair of glasses—in a style similar to those Aracy wore during the final phase of her career—rests upon the open pages of a French dictionary, highlighting the definition of the word "Samba."
