Killing me Valve! Killing me! I'm trying to give you money, a lot of money, for a VR headset, and I'm still stuck in the reservation queue. Got my Arcturus Camera upgrade here already, waiting for the Frame. Just no Frame to plug it into. 😑

Huh. What a strange classification here Google Play. One of the best precision platformer rogue lites ever made. Are we calling Dead Cells a "casual game"? Really?

They called it the iPhone Duo?!?! THEY CALLED IT A DUO!!! They're acting like they just invented folding phones, but they've just copied every trend from Huawei, Google, Oppo, and then had the gall to name it aftera Surface. #apple #iphone #tech #technews

Seeing more posts like these around social media, acting like Apple execs were psychic in predicting the AI bubble bursting. Just a friendly reminder, Apple's greed worked out for them that they never got too deep into AI investments. Tim Cook wasn't AI Nostradamus. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQif...

I'm a HUGE fan of these cinema headsets. I love having a MASSIVE TV that I can take on an airplane which can fold up and fit in a pocket. But we've done a TERRIBLE job educating consumers on them, and these accessories are WAY out of control! youtube.com/shorts/Pz3B1...

For the folks that keep saying we need "lighter" phones for some people, I seriously doubt there's a big market of people who want the LARGE phone surface area, but want to shave 30g of weight. Instead, why cant we bring back the classic iPhone 5S design, but more modern?

050

Juan Carlos Bagnell @somegadgetguy.com · 03/12/2025

I LOVE seeing devs bring older PC and console games to Android. Our phones are now WILDLY overkill powerful, and a modern phone can often rival an older PC. But it's also stupid to see a game like Red Dead Redemption 1 on sale for phones for a PENNY MORE than a bundle of RDR1 & RDR2 on Steam.

HA! The Article of the DMA that "encourages" Apple to allow for better compatibility with competing products (like earbuds, watches, and services like AirDrop) is Article 6(7)! SIX SEVEN YALL!!!

Benefits for business and end users
What does this mean for me as an iPhone user?

The objective of Article 6(7) DMA is that devices, apps and products from third parties can be used on an iPhone as seamlessly as Apple’s own products. The specification decisions adopted today support Apple in achieving this objective, by detailing how to securely allow third parties to use certain features that are so far only available to Apple devices. For example, the specification decision on connected devices aims to enable, amongst others, the following improvements:

iPhone users will have enhanced possibilities to receive push notifications including pictures on their non-Apple smartwatch and reply to these notifications.
iPhone users will also be able to pair their non-Apple connected devices such as headphones and smartwatches more seamlessly and easily with the iPhone.
Non-Apple devices such as virtual reality headsets will benefit from better and faster data connections with the iPhone.
Developers will be able to integrate alternative solutions to Apple’s AirDrop and AirPlay services on the iPhone. As a result, iPhone users will be able to choose from different and innovative services to share files with other users and cast media content from their iPhones to TVs.

Thanks to these new possibilities, in the future new and innovative devices may be developed for the iPhone users, something which was until now constrained by the lack of full interoperability.

Google wont EVER sell me on their AI apps until they can create a filter that weeds out the HUNDREDS of BS crypto scam comments I get on my YouTube videos. Making me manually scrub all this trash while pretending there's NO WAY they can automate this just proves to me AI is a stupid useless bubble.
