Are passive / active soundbars really all that much worse that a traditional system? I'm looking into my first home theatre setup, and so many comments treat soundbars like an utterly shameful device, which sucks because my room has a weird layout that doesn't suit LCR speakers

It's been a few months since this got boxed up for the move, but my little Chainmail winding device is back online with a few upgrades! I'm working on another tool to help cut the coils quicker since manually cutting them with clippers is a nightmare, but TBD

I'm working on a new update that enables build indexing support for Xbox One / Series, PS3 (.iso and .pkg), PS4, PS5 and Switch. However, these will require separate legal access to SDK tools to make use of as I can't provide them Should have it out in the next week or so

Imo "Prototype builds" are more a colloquialism than it is something the industry formally uses. You may also see them called Feature Builds as that's how we view them: Prototypes of features, mechanics, ideas etc The industry is vast though and I'm sure some use it more formally

The prototype designation for builds is in reference to a specific feature in that build rather than a "Prototype of the game" Development, debug, release, etc are all formal build configurations that toggle different features such as debug tools Beta and Alpha are content milestones

Modern emulation tech is wild. I was mucking with EmulatorJs (runs RetroArch) to play with some PS1 games, and wow, it required little to no setup to run in a browser I wonder when we'll get better support for later titles
