One of the crewman from Lady Be Good recovered from Polio by seeming sheer force of will. I believe it was Sgt. Ripslinger who was found *200 miles* from the crash site, the farthest any of them got. RIP to the crew of Lady Be Good.

HG had been telling them for many years they didn't own the rights and FASA ignored them. The first court case even directly addresses it as FASA's lawyers claimed that since HG didn't sue sooner, they had established latches and had rights to the designs. Judge shot that down fast.

Sorry, it was part of the settlement with HG that the images were removed. As for only using "in house" designs they took one of the designs MekTek created (the Deimos) and used it without saying anything to MekTek or giving us credit in the Technical Readout: 3085 Supplemental were it showed up.

At the start they might have thought they had the rights, but they should have at least suspected they didn't. They got their rights from an import company named Twentieth Century Imports. FASA only removed the "Unseen" as part of the settlement with HG, not before.

No, I am just someone who knows the actual facts and is willing to stand up for them rather than except lies. BTW, one reason BattleTech even *still exists* is because of the efforts of MekTek with MechWarrior 4 and I am a staff member. We helped keep BT alive during it's worst time. You're welcome.

I have read the court documents. FASA only had the rights to import models which oddly enough does NOT give you rights to artwork. So YOU are the one who needs to read more, not me. You are just parroting the lies that BT fanboys have been repeating year after year and prove my point.

I don't know the situation on the Abraham Lincoln. But for them to be running out of supplies means something is VERY wrong. The US Military has a logistics operation that is unmatched. For it to fail badly you would almost need intentional sabotage.

Important note: I personally am the reason that the "Unseen" were legally added to the Mechwarrior 4 Mercs mods by MekTek (me being a MekTek staffer). So yeah, I DO know more than most people. And certainly more than any one Sarna about this subject.

I preferer to read at the actual court papers, which I have done, rather than get second hand information from the highly biased BattleTech community. I have caught "BattleTech fans" flat out lying, even lying about what FASA themselves had said about this subject.
