This is how I normally have it configured when not in Theater mode: Hide Related videos Hide sidebar when empty

Same thing with the related sidebar when watching a video (which I normally have completely hidden) - this is what it looks like in vanilla YouTube then with Control Panel for Twitter restoring it usual size:

...but it only looks like with Control Panel for YouTube removing the useless "Most relevant" section and increasing the number of videos per row! This is what the same screen in vanilla YouTube looks like - still sod all room for actual videos due to the huge thumbnails:

This new YouTube UI change to how views are displayed in so baffling - clearly the intent is to fit more info in a smaller space...

We noticed we finally got the new YouTube /watch page side menu while taking these before & after screenshots, so we just added an option to hide it Progression: 1. Vanilla YT 2. Control Panel with default(-ish?) settings 3. Hide the sidebar when it's empty 4. Full-size theater mode

We also had some WIP on a "Full-width channel pages" feature which would now be useful to combine this with:

We just got the change where channel video pages now use the same grid sizing as Home and Subscriptions (3 videos at 1080p), but we can extend Control Panel for YouTube's "Grid items per row" feature to also work here:

Could this be a @firefox.com for Android CSS bug? Anything that uses env(safe-area-inset-bottom) is doing this:

YouTube removed the "Find out more" link from their "Experiencing interruptions?" popup (which indicates your adblocker is working) and now it makes zero sense (Also that link is what we were using to detect and hide it in Control Panel for YouTube)
