Just finished playing Ambrosia Sky. Good game! Enjoyed it a lot. Chill but somber. My main takeaway on plot themes could be summarized as "sometimes there's no closure to be had, and even what you get isn't the kind you want."

Just did a quick test on the first level: cleaning a colony fully should prevent regrowth, but leaving part of it will sometimes cause the rest of it to return on reload if it has a "growth moment" and isn't placed as a static colony.

Ahh, I see! Yes - there can be fungal regrowth when reloading a level; it might be because part of the original colony was missed, and the reload is retriggering its initial growth moment.

Save system PSA: there are many slots, and each save is a new slot! The game saves at the shuttle screen & level start automatically. The save points in the levels also act as health stations & checkpoints.
