7,000 words in two days; never have I had this kind of momentum. 24,000 words since the start of Nov. — Process: I thought of scenes, sorting them in 3 ACTS. Found a western structure that fits. Studied “save the cat”. Studied history books. When scenes pop in my head, I put them in relative act. ✍🏾

Great book, very insightful. I think the biggest take away was how to focus on having the reader feel emotion without saying the emotion, try to explain the act without name calling the act explicitly. Allow the reader to participate and fill in some of the blanks goes a long way. 💯 #booksky

🚨 "Writing Down the Bones" by Natalie Goldberg. This is a must-read for all writers. Her 'writing practice', the act of using a physical pen, the right pen, and a notebook w/ snoopy on the cover, so you don't take the writing too seriously. To write daily, 10 mins a day. Great advice. #writers

On Writing was Excellent! I enjoyed learning how he came up with his ideas, that was priceless information. And how his wife helped shaped "Carrie". The book that changed everything for me however was "Stein on Writing" by Sol Stein. This book changed my life, and what writing means to me! #writing
