It is actually SHOCKING how incompetent #AllForCITY's front office is at closing a deal for a 9. If you heard the things I've heard, you'd wonder if these idiots ever signed a player before. Someone get these guys a "Run A MLS Club For Dummies" book.

Sorry, Corey is too busy celebrating saving salary by shipping out Lowen.

120

Oh, and Kane is 33 years old so way too old for Corey Wray's #AllForCITY. Just like Hugo Cuypers at 29 would have been too old. Yeah, that's why we didn't sign him. Mmhmm. Sure.

Michael @chatcitytactics.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

You'll have to because Bayern officials would laugh so loudly, they'd bust Diego and Corey's eardrums. (and also, Kane probably doesn't like provel)

Please note: Corey Wray just went on the #AllForCITY record. We are moving on Löwen as his age does not align, twilight years, blah blah blah. Meanwhile, one month ago, he tried to sign Hugo Cuypers, who is NINE DAYS younger than Edu.

Pardon my french but WTF is this walking without being able to chew gum nonsense from the @stlcitysc.com front office to someone who not only means so much to STL fans but has contributed so much to the club too. #AllForCITY

It shouldn’t be going down like this. It’s extremely disheartening that the front office doesn’t realize this and doesn’t seem to care enough to handle it differently.

STL fans deserved more than a Tom Bogert scoop to learn of Edu Löwen departing. Putting aside every other move made so far, putting aside the on field impact even… Löwen is different. His circumstances for a long time have been different. Fans’ care for him and his family is different. #AllForCITY

All we needed was a striker. Just a striker. #diEGO #AllForCITY

More likely to find some old JAM in there honestly.

I should not want to have an overwhelming urge to shove my head between my couch cushions today while my MLS club is on an long unbeaten streak. And yet, here we are.

I do need to make a Highmark pilgrimage at some point, too.

Tom Franklin @soccerzombie.com · 18/08/2026

US non-league places I'd love to visit someday: Minneapolis City/Aurora (if I can do both in one trip...yay!) Ballard FC/Salmon Bay (see above) Little Rock Rangers (Open Cup?) Memphis FC (Whenever, curious how that project is doing) Vermont Green (duh) A Chicago MWPL/UPSL tour (lots of clubs!)

231

And that's totally fine. And truthfully, more power to you for being able to make that delineation. Take care!

010

1. CK hired Diego because she's not a soccer person and put a lot of power in his hands. 2. Yes 3. Get rid of Diego. He's a cancer. 4. Someone who isn't Diego. 5. Yes, actually. If we can win hardware this year, I'd rather keep Lowen to help us win it then let him walk.

100

Because he's at the head of everything and every aspect of this club runs through him by his own design.

100

No, but you can certainly blame him for running players out of town. But of course, the club doesn't want you to know that. Problem is, when you've created a toxic work environment, the truth has a way of leaking out.

10 games unbeaten and our biggest derby match of the season ahead of us. #AllForCITY should be buzzing. Instead, Diego Gigliani is doing everything in his power to throw yet another bucket of cold water on the fanbase with his bullshit.

@stlcitysc.com constantly trying to alienate its core audience in the middle of a 10 game winning streak with another incomprehensible player transfer rumor. For all the wins on the field, they are own goal-ing left and right on the PR front.

Thanks! I definitely don't regret it as there was definitely a story to be told with this club.

I've never been more terrified of a club's survival chances than when I visited the Cosmos in early April.

120

Tom Franklin @soccerzombie.com · 13/08/2026

Nevermind they play in Paterson. Nevermind the Cosmos reflect absolutely nothing about the vibrant, multi-cultural community of Paterson. But no, let's double down on the tone deafness with AI video of a player who never suited up for this iteration of your club. The Cosmos brand is dead.

Question for my golfing friends: I was gifted a set of left-handed golf clubs from my dad, but I'm a righty. I want to trade these in for a right-handed set. What's the best place in the #STL area for them (or if anyone is a lefty and wants a set of golf clubs, let me know?)
