Now that the time of day is editable after the fact, the Super Scribblenauts Any% WR History is more accurate 🥳 Previously one of my runs wasn't included in this list because Aero changed the date on one of their PBs and it defaulted to midnight UTC, pushing it back to the previous day in US time.

I often (mentally) complain about how elo io likes to change random design elements on SR.C, and this new submission page almost looks like another example, but I'm glad that you can finally set the time of day yourself. this is something I've wanted for a while (although tbf I never sent feedback)

It took a couple months, but I managed to get all of Streets of Rogue's single player records! I don't expect these to stay here forever, and it's not like I came up with any new strats, but I think I've made a mark by just pushing the game further. Now I can focus on other things for a bit?

I could say "nah this is good enough", already having 2nd in the final category, but I can't let my 2nd place be a minute slower lol WR gets a god seed which is now used in 4 seeded categories; bad news for me, as I have to hope to randomly roll another seed that's just as good and play it better

3 more submitted... two were free WRs but I tried to do them justice once I found that good seed that I was looking for. the other one is only 7 seconds from WR, and didn't get unheard of good luck, so I'll probably try to beat it next time I play. then...? the demotivation can no longer be avoided.

+4 WRs. These were easy I guess; just had to learn the seed that the previous WR holder used for all 4 of the (pretty similar) runs. What remains are 2 more up in the air categories, which I need to find a good seed for, and 5 more difficult and potentially mind-numbing random seed categories.

my Streets of Rogue conquest is peaking... the really hard and reset-heavy categories are basically all that remain (not counting pacifist seeded). it's annoying to run when you're not getting what you need, or if you are, something terrible may happen at any moment (level layouts/missions/death)

I've been uhhhh playing a lot of this game recently (around 67 hours, according to Steam and if you subtract a lil bit of afk and a lil bit of an unrelated game). just been putting them on YT unlisted because it's a lot of run spam and YT is too convenient when I don't want to blast my socials

got myself a CheatBox just for fun and because it was cheap (on discount for $18 before shipping). unfortunately that seems to come at a cost, since the mechanical switches have a chance to retrigger when you release the key, which is detrimental for quick menuing and gaming. debounce doesn't fix it

This run was just like 3 major mistakes away from being WR and 1:08. It's a PB by ~1m40s so that's definitely a good improvement already; clearly, practicing the levels I play less often pays off.

Forgot to post earlier but I am closer to WR now! Early game splits will be a bit tougher to run against since I grinded for coins for like 4 fewer minutes, but there's a couple timelosses later that I'd love to even out. Going away for a week starting Wed so let's hope rust doesn't settle in 😸

at the end of March I did a lot of route testing and timing for WL2 100% (to know which coins to get, since they're used for required minigames), and now that K-STAR is over I can devote time to attempts. My first completed run is 2nd place, but it's pretty bad and WR is ~13 minutes away

Streets of Rogue: Any% Duos with custom characters. Very fast paced run; the loadout is a more convenient version of vanilla characters. Instead of Robot for support, I suggested a Demolitionist build, since it's a bit more efficient for stat points and you don't have to worry about ammo. #speedrun

I've been quiet the past two weeks while trying to get to emerald rank in MCSR Ranked. I didn't quite get there (at peak elo I needed ~4 more wins but then I lost my last couple games before the server closed). Now that the season is over I think I'll queue less often and practice/learn more often.

okay so speaking of that hardcore run, I said it was unverifiable since it used mods that weren't legal for speedrunning (betterf3, gamma utils, and non-speedrunning build of sodium), but I forgot that I also did quake xray in that run lawl. I thiiink I knew this wasn't legal on the src board? idk

oh yeah I did a session of minecraft 1.16 any% rsg and got a sub 30. definitely beats my (unverifiable) 1.21.0 hardcore run of 1:01:48 from last year. the speedgame is so hard

ATLYSS: All Bosses NG+ in 10:45. I made this category to incorporate the new boss in a way that wouldn't be annoying (you can access the LV26 boss at LV14 from a fresh file, which may be optimal but means your survival chance is basically 0). 📼▶ chargedgarlic.net/video.php?id... #atlyss #speedrun

In similar news, I've submitted ATLYSS Colossus% and Streets of Rogue Any% Co-op for AGDQ2026, and unlike the previous couple times I've submitted, I remain open to attending in person if I get accepted. Here's hoping that one or both of them make it in; I think it would be cool to show them off :3
