Apparently the argument my sisters are having isn't actually an argument, they're just both being obnoxious about it.

Probably no Stranger Things episodes quick thoughts tonight either… again because my sisters are having some drama argument and my older sister said that she's not really in the mood tonight. Stay tuned for tomorrow. #StrangerThings

Eva Marie Saint was a Hollywood icon. Despite having only appeared in a number of movies, having films like On the Waterfront, Grand Prix, and especially North by Northwest are gems to have. Also, I loved her as the elderly Katara in Legend of Korra. I'm sad to hear she's gone.

S2E2 "Trick or Treat, Freak": (9/10) Something strange certainly is in the neighborhood with farmer's crops seem to be dying by the same type of rot from the Upside Down. You also seriously cannot help but for bad for both Eleven and Nancy since the latter has to keep Barb's death a secret. (3/10)

S2E1 "MADMAX": (7/10) We are introduced to new characters such as Bob, Max, Murray, Billy, Dr. Sam Owens and… THE MIND FLAYER and they are off on good impressions. Apparently Nancy hasn't told Barb's parents that she's dead yet. Also Jim has been secretly taken care of Elven. (2/10)

A lot of people lamenting the Paramount/Warner merger and fearing David Ellison's control over the media are forgetting that we have three secret weapons at our disposal, currently lurking high up in the Warner water tower.

So apparently they're not referring to Generative AI or LLMs. This is what people complain about when they talk about misleading headlines and translations.

My overall thoughts on Season One of Stranger Things: (8/10) It is a really solid start with a good storyline that connects things together, funny and interesting characters and a balance between horror and comedy that blends well together. But of course, this is only the beginning…

S1E8 "The Upside Down": (9/10) A great, tearjerking conclusion for the first season with us finally fully seeing the Demogorgon and the Upside Down and both of which are horrifying. Although it is WAY too flashy at times. (8/8)

S1E6 "The Monster": (8/10) I'm honestly surprised that Terry is heavily hinted to be Eleven's mother. Steve and Troy are so far at their worst but get their asses kicked. Also the scene where Eleven steals Eggos from a supermarket and the "R2-D2 fighting Darth Vader" line were hilarious. (6/8)

S1E5 "The Flea and the Acrobat": (7/10) This here folks is where we're leading up to the Upside Down itself, and it's build up is solid with the Flea and Acrobat theory and the comparison to the "Vale of Shadows" from D&D. (5/8)

S1E4 "The Body": (8/10) I originally thought the fake body was created by the Demogorgon or something organically created but it was actually full of stuffing created by the Hawkins Lab. (4/8)

S1E3 "Holly Jolly": (7/10) Joyce communicating to Will through Christmas lights is a good homage to Poltergeist, which the film was already referenced in the first episode in the flashback where Joyce bought tickets for the movie which I guess was meant to be build up. (3/8)

I personally feel that the WBD/Paramiunt deal won’t even last the rest of the year because it is too compromised a deal of the original thing to truly be a threat. That and a weak Q4 lineup and bleeding money means we could see the two studios break up, and Ellison terminated. It could happen.

Yeah I'm definitely largely staying off Twitter/X for the next few days or even months given the recent news. Honestly, I doubt Skydance will survive the last few years of this decade before being forced to get rid of WB and Paramount because of that massive debt.

Honestly, I believe the reason why some people are getting turned off from the discourse surrounding Disney's upcoming Hexed is because it's just going to be a repeat of what happened with films like Raya, Strange World, Wish and Moana 2 and no way in hell does anyone want to go through that again.

It's ironic that people are going after Hexed for having a "adorable, quirky female character" yet are giving Forgotten Island a pass despite it having the same trope and going more crazy with it. Pretty much goes to show how hypocritical people are these days.

I'm personally not affected by this because well… it's Seth McFarlane so of course it's going to have the same art style. Hopefully it'll make up for it if has the same writing and comedy as the live action prequel series.

Response to Today’s News… David Ellison might have won this war but he won’t have oversight of WB forever. Expect nothing much to change for now. If this goes the way of AOL Time Warner or AT&T/WarnerMedia, WB will be rise up again. WB has been under bad ownership before. This is no exception.
