tonight's play session involved me dedicating myself to carrying the clock around for a full day/night cycle and marking the in-game time of sunrise and sunset. this is not particularly useful information for our style of play, but anyway, here's a candid of that process in process

Widescreen screenshot of Big Walk, showing a player character looking down at a clock in their hands during the night time. Someone is shining a flashlight in their general direction, illuminating the area and the clock face.

rarely have I had so much fun in a video game doing so much nothing

Wide-FOV screenshot of Big Walk, showing 4 players, all sitting in beach chairs. Three of the players hold another player's beach chair, creating a very silly-looking arc, and the fourth player (me!) holds a megaphone above their head.

[letters from the dating front] @heavyimage I'm learning to like it, myself! Although falling madly in love with one person in particular would be the preferred outcome 😅

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING is great, avoid learning anything about it before watching if you can. Which I would recommend. For a three hour movie built on awkwardness, it does not drag at all

I'm beginning a long, slow journey through the surveillance footage that the MA state police were kind enough (*) to send me. The first file is from May 31, 2020 - in the absolute depths of early-pandemic - people took to the streets to protest George Floyd's murder just six days earlier. 1/?
