SNISNI @snisni.it · 19/09/2025Quick tip for aspiring developers: Try to look at other codebases (and even contribute to some) as much as possible. This can help make you write code whilst keeping in mind a hypothetical person reading it, and so you'll write more understandable code. 🌐✨ 010
SNISNI @snisni.it · 12/07/2025Of course but, I'd like to remind you gentlemen of the immense pleasure of farting in a bathtub for a better version of the effects. Kind regards 140

SNISNI @snisni.it · 30/04/2025It's not about sex, I'm doubtful of the fact that they could have the computing power necessary to train a video AI model when even OpenAI struggles financially with that, and it produces okay results. I also work for an AI firm and I find their claims highly suspicious at best 100
SNISNI @snisni.it · 30/04/2025On Asteria's website (her new AI production company) it says that it uses "the world's first clean and ehtical AI model". I call BS on this, did they train it themselves? I don't think so. This claim should be investigated 2391
SNISNI @snisni.it · 09/04/2025Also vibe coding should not, in my opinion, should not be used to LEARN programming for the same reasons 000
SNISNI @snisni.it · 09/04/2025Quick tip for aspiring developers: Even though AI can now write entire chunks of code for you it's best to do stuff "by hand" if you're starting out. Skipping the fundamental and "boring" parts of programming is like learning to play the guitar without first learning chords. 👨💻 131
SNISNI @snisni.it · 29/03/2025Noodle, with all due respect, but what the actual fuck are you on about? 010
SNISNI @snisni.it · 24/03/2025Quick tip for aspiring developers: Don't first study the theory and then start coding. Come up with a simple project idea and make it by learning what you need along the way. My suggestion? A simple to-do application like everyone else 010

Reposted by SNISNIdame @dame.is · 23/03/2025we do ourselves a huge disservice by thinking of things like the AT Protocol as a “developer ecosystem” — dev rel, technical docs, dev grants… what about the creators, the artists, the community organizers, the activists, the “non-technical” people? can we plz not repeat the mistakes of the past? 1616329
SNISNI @snisni.it · 10/03/2025Plus with engines that run it natively like @deno.land it's also pretty secure IMO 010
SNISNI @snisni.it · 10/03/2025I get the hate towards #JavaScript, but why hate #TypeScript? It's a pretty solid language with some nice syntactic sugar sprinkled on top 👨💻 100
SNISNI @snisni.it · 10/03/2025Yeah, if you don't want to write the docs at least write type definitions with parameter descriptions so that I don't even have to leave my editor to see it 010
SNISNI @snisni.it · 09/03/2025It's true, @bun.sh just works. It's the best option for setting up #JavaScript or #TypeScript quickly without battling with absurd environment requirements. I just hope that #NestJS would add native support for it. Maybe I'll start working on it if the demand is high enough 👨💻 020
SNISNI @snisni.it · 09/03/2025Like seriously, I can set up a monorepo and share entities between backend and frontend. Now data has the same exact definition across environments. That's just amazing honestly. 000
SNISNI @snisni.it · 09/03/2025I worked with #Laravel and swore by it for many years, but I've always recognized its biggest flaw: being written in #PHP. And while there still isn't a development ecosystem that rivals it I have to say that switching to #NestJS is the best you can do to deliver a robust backend quickly 🐈⚡ 120
