FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Oh it is so late this does not bode well- Basically the complete opposite mood from yesterday's post LMAO. I figured since I'm going monochrome I should try a manga-adjacent vibe! Also, Quinn what are you teaching GV-?! Day 2: Genderbend #gunvolt #azurestrikergunvolt #CountdownToGX

Genderbent GV and Copen are going on a date, with GV holding Copen's arm. Text, left to right, reads: "What are you doing, Adept?" "We're on a date, right? Quinn said this is what couples do."

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

Also, I'm so glad XIV is on the Switch 2. Being able to grind the Gold Saucer, Gathering or Crafting while doing stuff like Cooking, Laundry, etc. is so useful to me since I can spend my actual free time doing stuff I can't put down as easily, be it also in XIV or otherwise.

I just learned how badly the Pokémon TCG scalpers just got set alight due to overinvestment, and so the greatest feeling of Schadenfreude has washed over me. Sucks to suck. Maybe get a real job instead of ruining a children's game just because some rich soulless husk of a creature made it "trendy".

Nothing's more embarrassing than anthro characters on a daki. Nowadays, dakis of anime characters are relatively pedestrian—at worst they'll get a small chuckle—but only the gods can save you if you have unending hubris like me and need to hang Durge from BG3 out to dry on laundry day. (=///=t ')

An Aggron one would be super cute if it's not been done yet qwq Either that or Silvally but it's incredibly unlikely since only three exist according to Aether Foundation—one stolen by Gladion, one given away in S/M, and one missing(implied to be the one in Sw/Sh)—unless Gen 10 changes that.

I had visions, so now I have trainer designs. Heroic, whimsical AND practical! Meet Arcadius and Eusebia! Wanted protags above 10 so a father-daughter duo sounded like a fun change. I love them both so much so I let them have a silly witchy hat as a treat, enjoy! #Art #WIP #Pokémon #FanArt #OCs

Fanmade Pokémon Trainer designs, one is a man in his late 30s and the other is a girl in her mid-to-late teens.

Hot Xeno take: I hope Xenoblade Genesis doesn't touch XC1-3 too significantly. I love these stories, but XC3 was about moving on, and Genesis literally signifies new beginnings. By all means, have callbacks or pre-existing concepts, but let it stay that way. The endless now has long since passed.

Not my usual content, but this is the closest I'll post to 18+ art unless there's demand for it here. Here's a doodle from this afternoon of me and my partner @draykegaming.draykeserver.co.uk's Pokésonas being gay. (suggestive) #Art #Pokésona #Hybrid #Entei #Chien-Pao #Hydreigon #Giratina #Pokémon

Chien-Pao/Entei Hybrid taking off their sweater after getting too hot, while a Hydreigon/Giratina Hybrid watches in a mix of awe, lust and disgust from its three heads, with a "whoa. would. why." from top to bottom respectively.

The lowest head is chewing out the taller hybrid by telling him to "Cover them up, slut!" in a small speech bubble near the top of the image.
