a tumblr post by leo-fie reading: We all know existential dread, but I propose (and please tell me if this is already a thing) existential awe.

Sometimes when I handsew or weave or something I get this immense feeling of connection to humanity. People for thousands of years all over the world have sat down and sewn a garment. Archeologists find needles and awls all the time. When I’m tablet weaving I have the same frustration at the arduous process of threading the tablets as the person 2600 years ago must have felt when they made the bands that were found in a celtic man’s burial mount not far from my home. They probably also felt their back after a few hours of this.

A cube sort of like a Rubik's cube but instead of different colours it's all silver, and the blocks are uneven sizes, the bottom layer much thicker than the top. When you mix the cube up it no longer looks like a cube but like lots of differently shaped and sized rectangles jumbled together. The picture shows one cube in its solved form and one mixed up. Sorry if this is a confusing description, I don't really know how to explain them.

A Snake Person from the book 'All Tomorrows', which is like a sort of long snake-shaped mammalian creature with a single hand at the end of its 'tail'. They're wearing a sort of green fabric tube (when you're a snake I guess clothing is generally going to be kinda tube-based) and a scarf loosely wrapped around their middle, and they're holding a boba cup. They have a tattoo of an ammonite near their head and a tattoo of a lizard near their hand/tail. They're kind of floating in front of a colourful abstract sparkly pattern because I didn't want to draw a background.
