I absolutely love all kinds of fanart. My only rules are not to change character's skintone/bodytype/gender(since most are trans and that'd be so weird) and also please don't draw my ocs in nsfw with yours unless we're actively shipping them. Everything else is chill tbh.

I 100% agree, because everyone currently supporting artists is literally helping real creativity and art to exist, and this is a HUGE contribution. I’m grateful to every client who orders commissions or buys designs/prints, because you’re truly saving us now (+ all the stray cats we feed, haha!) 💛

It is also worth noting the importance of liking and sharing artists' work, refusing to consume AI slop, and supporting artists with kind words and by showing them they aren't alone. That itself is a big deal - and something very important in these days.

I think the issue with OOT remake is that they could have done so much better at adding detail and polish without making it uncanny valley and kinda weird and shiny. They should have taken tips for ACNH imo. Keep the cartoony style but polish it up.Like even botw handles this better.

anyone else ever get the itch to like ramble til 4am about a story you care about with someone else who cares about it just as much? like deep headcannon infodumping and idea spitballing?? and then you look at yourself and go "babe you made this story up"

There's a starman waiting in the sky ✨ #OCart #OCsky #vsky #refsheet #phroobINK

A reference sheet showing Roo's vtuber in his true form; a being made from and of the stars. Their hair and body are made of the same substance which is a blue to teal gradient as well as having both stars inside and constellations where tattoos might be. They have large white eyes that glow, a matching smile, and a large star on the left hand side of their chin. A ring system orbits their head, with three planets on them. Matching ring systems circle both wrists. Their outfit is comprised of a dark teal button up shirt that is cropped to show his tummy, and features a star button, a deep v-neck, shoulder cut outs, and bishop sleeves. His trousers are a light blue-grey, and are mostly covered by thigh high stiletto boots in the same colour as his shirt.

To left side of the front and back illustrations is a star map of the constellations on their body. Text reads: "Fig. 1-6; 1, Gemini (shoulder, left); 2, Lynx (spine); 3, Monoceros (forearm, left); 4, Orion (abdomen); 5, Casseopeia (shoulder, right); 6, Canes venatici (lower back, left). Unpictured; 7, Crater (upper thigh, left); 8, Columba (upper thigh, left)." Beneath this is an image showing the three planets in more detail, with Phroob's head in between them. Text reads: "Planets orbit Phroob's head on a ring system like that of the planet Saturn. Why anything would rotate around their empty head is a mystery, though." In between the nude and clothed versions of the design is the colour palette in star shapes.

To the right of the illustration is an small cut in of his mouth, showing his blue tongue, and further to the right of that is text, though this will not fit in the description here so will be continued in the comments.

Baldur's Gate 3 fancomic. A vine blight has Aldiirn constricted in its tendrils--

After the battle, Gale approaches Aldiirn. "That was a clever casting to escape! Adding a toxic cloud to Misty Step is quite the novel innovation, wherever did you learn such a variation?"

"I um..." Aldiirn grimaces, "teleportation gives me bad gas."

The tooltip for Noxious Step pops up, specifying this spell is only known to clergy of Vhaeraun, an evil god of the dark seldarine.

As someone who WAS exposed to nsfw that was horrifying as a child, the solution is not censorship, it’s barriers. Warnings. If the fic had a big warning saying “SERIOUSLY THIS IS EXPLICIT PORN AND THE CONTENT IS KINDA DARK” I would have been safe. This was in the era of “lemons” though.

tumblr is having a great one about this, little masterpiece of a post I'd say

first post reads: Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.
reblog reads: "you're less internet savy than a 13 year old mormon" is a diabolical thing to say to someone, I support it

my least favorite trope ever is when the main characters have to deal with a problem created by “gentle parents” that isnt actually gentle parenting and is just how abusive parents think gentle parenting sounds. no one is doing this shit.
